三、Teaching aims: 1.Knowledge aims: Ss can understand the story by the picture. 2.Language skills: （1）Ss are able to read the story （2）Ss are able to get the information from the story. （3）Ss are able to retell the story. 3.Emotion aims: （1）Ss are able to learn in group of four and cooperate with each other. （2）Ss are able to learn English actively and enjoyably. （3）Ss can polite to ask someone have something.

4、Learning strategies: （1）Ss are able to understand and use what they have learned to communicate and talk by teamwork. （2）Ss are able to understand the story by completing the task . 四、Teaching key and difficult points: 1.Key point:

四年级的学生通过在三年级一年多的英语学习具有一定的英语学习基础，他们的年龄特点比较好动，注意力比较容易不集中，同时也喜欢在游戏活动多的课堂上课。

六、The analysis of teaching contents：

该课内容出自Book 4, Friends with English,Unit4 Free Time中的story。其功能主要是通过阅读故事，学会如何有礼貌的询问他人要某样东西，并且通过多种形式的朗读，回答问题，角色扮演和故事的复述，加深对故事的理解并掌握故事的内容。

七、Teaching procedures：

Step1. Warming up 1.

Activity2: Daily talk. 【设计意图】通过课前的交流活动，可提高学生学习的注意力，并有效地拉近师生的距离，创造一种和谐融洽的学习氛围。

Step2. Pre - story 1.

Show a picture and guess “ Where are they going ?” Then, lead in the

Step3. While -story 1. Read the story follow the tape sentence by sentence. 2. Read the story in group of 4 and answer the questions :

What color are the balloons ? 【设计意图】首先让学生听文本的录音感受地道的英语发音并跟读。接着设置任务,让学生带着问题,通过小组合作完成任务并在合作的过程中理解文本。

Step3. Post- story 1.

Role play to read and act out the story. 2.

Read and choose. 【设计意图】在理解文本的情况将故事演绎出来。之后通过复述故事让学生对整个故事的一个回顾，加深学生对文本的理解，这样既培养了学生与同学的合作能力，同时也提高学生的口语能力。
