1.Review:

Step 1: Warm-up

All the students watch a video and sing a song.

Step 2: Review

1):Review the words: send an email, write a letter, make a phone call, send a short message, mail a present, make a video call

2):Use the expression: want to do sth. to make sentences.

I want to make a phone call to my mother.

I want to .........

Step 3: Lead-in

Mother’s Day is coming, when is Mother’s Day, and What do you want to do on Mother’s Day.

2.Vocabulary study:

Step1: Play the recording and have them point out the words and phrases in dialogue. Step2: Play the recording again and have them read after the tape.

Step3: Learn some words about the new words.

3.Dialogue study:

Step1: Read the dialogue and practice the dialogue with the whole class. Step2: Find out the key expression and practice with the partner. 4.Play a game:

Invite some students to practice the dialogues:

1)Row a boat

S1: What would you like to do on Weekend.

S2: I would like to row a boat.

2)Send an email

S1: What would you like to.

S2: I would like to send an email to my friends.

3)Write a letter

S1: What would you like to do on Mother’s Day.

S2: I would like to write a letter to my mother. .................

Each two students in a group to practice the dialogue.

Homework:

Read the dialogue and practice the expression.
