Teaching aims 1.

The first one, knowledge aims. By the end of the lesson Ss can understand these sentence patterns: what’s in it? What color is it? And Ss will be able to use them correctly in real life. 2.

The second one, ability aims. To develop Ss’ abilities of listening and speaking. To train their abilities of communication and working in groups. 3.

The third one, emotional aims. To improve Ss’ interest and confidence in learning and

speaking. Tell Ss to take good care of their things.

Teaching key and difficult points 1.

The key point of lesson is to make sure that Ss can understand and use these sentence patterns correctly in real life. 2.

The difficult points is to make sure they can pronounce these new words and read the dialogue aloud with feelings..

Teaching procedures Step1. Lead in & review T: Good morning everyone. Let's listen to a song first.

2. Listen again and read after it, then teach the dialogue sentence by sentence. 3. Divide the whole class into two groups to act the dialogue. Then ask students to work in pairs to practice the dialogue and act it out. T will walk around to give some help and correct students’ pronunciation and intonation. (Ss who behave well will get a star.) 4. Finish let’s play. Drill the sentence pattern: “What color is it?” Teacher will explain how to play, and then ask students to work in pairs to practice and act it out. Step3. Summary

The time for students to practise the dialogue is not enough, so taht some students with poor basis can’t act the dialogue out. 2.

If there is a compitition game, it will stimulate more students’ desire to perform.
