教学设计
1.
Warm-up (1)Greetings (2)Let’s sing Play the song ”Ten Little Indians”
together. Ask students to follow and act.
2.
Presentation and Practice (1)Teacher presents a picture of Ann’s birthday party. In the picture you can find a cake and 7 lighting candles. When asking students “How old are you?”, write it on the blackboard, then compare it with “How are you?”. When they answer, write “I am...”
on the blackboard. Let students imitate these sentences, then read among groups. (2)Pair work, students ask and answer age of each others. (3)Look, listen and say. Present the picture of this part, then tell students, “Ann and Tom are doing physical examination. What
would doctor ask? What will they answer?”
Ask students to read and then answer. (4)Play the records and ask students to imitate it. (5)Ask students to act the dialogue out. 3.
Consolidation and Extension (1)Game:One by one. Students ask and answer in lines. For example, the First student asks, the second student answers and then asks the third student.
(2)Play a game. Students past a ball when music is playing. But when the music stops, the one who is holding the ball will answer the question “How old are you?” from the rest of the class. 4.
