教学目标:

1、熟练运用句型

----Where are you from?

----I’m from…

进行问答。

2、能听懂、会说、会读、会认单词Italy、Australia、Iceland、France 4个单词。

3、能听懂、

会说句型

1) ---- Is he /she from ... ?

----Yes,

he is . / No ,she isn’t.

2) ----Where is he /she from?

---- He /she is from…

并能用来进行对话。

教学重点:

会用句型

1)----Where are you from?

----We’re/I’m from…

2) ---- Is he /she from ... ?

----Yes,

he is . / No ,she isn’t.

3) ----Where is he /she from?

---- He /she is from…

进行对话。

教学难点:

拓展部分的Italy、Australia等单词的发音,特别是重读。

教学过程:

一、情景导入

T:Good morning ,everyone.

Now,I have a picture to show you.(出示世界地图) T:What’s this ? Ss :It’s a map . T: Yeah , it’s a world map. Here ,look(T放大地图,显示China部分,并用手指住),the People’s Republic of China .I am from China. Where are you from ? Ss :I am from China,too . T: OK, today ,Let’s go on to learn

Lesson 4 Where are you from ?(并板书课题)

二、新课展示presentation

1、T提问S1: Where are you from ?

S1回答:I am from China. T提问S1的同桌S2:Where are you from ?

S2回答

:I am from China. 2、T提问S1、S2同学:Where are you from ?

S1+S2:We are

from China. T板书:

Where are you from ?

We are from China. 3、T继续提问2组(同桌两位)同学:Where are you from ?

Ss回答。

4、T手拿“天安门”图卡,提问S3+S4:Are you from Beijing ?

S3+S4答:No ,we aren’t .

T转而提问

S5+S6:Are you from Luoyang ?

S5+S6答:Yes ,we are . T板书:

Are you from Beijing ?

Yes ,we are ./ No ,we aren’t .

5、T:OK, boys and girls , do you like travel ?(T解释

travel)

Ss回答Yes. T: Let’s go to travel around the world , OK? Station 1:Here(T放大世界地图,显示the UK的部分). T手拿词卡,范读the UK的发音,并领读。

T: the capital of the UK is(the Big Ben 词卡)London.

T示范读London ,并领读。

Station 2:Here(T放大世界地图,显示the USA的部分). T讲授the USA、New York2个新单词。

6、句型替换

T指着板书提问,并在China、Beijing2个单词下面划线,

Ss一边回答,T一边把the UK 、London、the USA、New York4张词卡贴在黑板上

Where are you from ? the UK

We are from China.

Are you from Beijing ? London

Yes ,we are ./ No ,we aren’t .

New York

三、拓展操练

1、T:Now ,Station 3,here

Italy

2、

依次讲解Italy、Australia、Iceland、France 4个单词。

3、T示范读、领读,

Ss跟读,one by one 读。

4、T:Yeah, well done . Now, let’ s do more exercises: cards in my hand, 8different countries , let me hand them out(发给一竖排同学,发的时候卡正面朝下). T:Now,

your deskmate , It’s your time to ask .(T指着黑板上的问句Where are you from?)

Line1、2的Ss完成句型问答练习:Where are you from ?

We are

from …

5、T:Line5,your turn.(T指着第一竖行手拿单词卡的Ss提问)

Where is he/she from?(PPT出示这个句型。)

T提问完整竖排Ss.

四、A

guessing game. PPT出示游戏规则。

1、Group1选一人抽一张卡,如Iceland G1本组成员可以看到卡片上的单词

其余7个组的来猜

Is he/she from…? G1的同学来回答Yes/No .(T可以在一旁给出关键词提示,如“It’s very cold there.”

在没有猜对的情况下,其余组的同学可以继续猜,直至猜对。给予猜对的组奖励。

2、这其中一定会出现三次机会都猜完了还没有猜到的情况,怎么办呢?

情况1:

T手指着黑板上的句型Where are you from?对其余7个组说:Let’s ask together. 持卡这一组回答:

情况2:

T对持卡的同学说:Show us your card.然后提问其余7个组SS:

from?(PPT出示这个句型。)

并引导其余7个组SS回答

They are from …(PPT出示这个句型。)

T总结:You did a very good job!

五、PPT出示练习题,并带领学生完成。

六、活动。

1、T拿出自己和室友的照片进行介绍,然后问:Where is Lemon?

Ss答。

T:These girls are my roommates in my college. They are from different places . Let me tell you . And you can ask some questions. Ss提问:Where is she from?

T一一回答。

2、T:OK, now , please take out your photos,introduce you friend to your deskmate. You can ask like:

Who’s he/she ?

What’s his/her name ?

How old is he/she ?

T: Ready ?Go ! (三分钟后请2组同学起立展示对话。) 七、Write a passage . 1、T:I have another friend , a foreign friend.Look ! (PPT出示

Where is she from?当问到这个问题时,T请SS来猜
