1、本册教材是人教版一起英语三年级下册。该册包含六个教学单元和两个复习单元。六个教学单元的主题分为两大板块。1-3单元为学校学习相关话题，4-6单元为家庭生活相关话题。这两大主题看似相互独立，实则融汇贯通，都隶属于个人学习生活信息。

本课时承担着学习本单元核心词汇的任务。本课歌谣中介绍房间内人物此时的活动，会涉及到句型：He/She is doing sth.通过了解家庭成员在房间所做的事教材分析

情来帮助学生理解本课核心词汇的功能意义。本课话题相关词汇在二年级上册第一单元出现mother,father,brother,sister,grandmother,grandfather. 本课所涉及的句型，Where is…？ He/She is in…三年级下册第二单元学习过。He/She is doing sth.已在三年级下册第五单元学习过。本课将让学生在交际情境中学习运用Where is…？He/She is in…来询问并回答家庭成员所在房间。

3、本课时主要分为三个部分：Part A Look, listen and chant.在歌谣和房屋结构图的帮助下学习词汇；Part B Look and say. 在句子中练习新词汇，体会词汇在交际情境中的运用。Part C Let’s write. 能在四线三格中规范地临摹词汇。

三年级学生已能达到课标一级目标的以下要求：

1.在学习中乐于模仿，敢于表达，对英语具有一定的感知能力。

2.能在图片的帮助下，听懂和读懂简单的文本。
