教学目标

1、能听说读写四会单词:season,spring,summer,autumn,winter。

2、能初步掌握主要句型Which season do you like best? I like...best的

问答,并能在具体情境中灵活运用。

3、完成Read and Match的练习。

教学重难点

重点:掌握四会单词season,spring,summer,autumn,winter,并能用主要句型进行对话讨论。

难点:which,spring等单词的正确发音。

教学过程

Step 1. Warm-up 1.Greeting

T: Good afternoon, boys and girls. How are you today?

SS:I’m fine.Thank you!

T: What’s the weather like today?

Ss:It’s cloudy and cool. T: You should drink plenty of water. Take care of yourself. (设计意图:通过师生之间简单的问答形式,缓和了刚上课的紧张状态,同时也通过老师一句简单的关心话语,拉近了师生之间的距离,利于开展教学。)

引出今天的课题:Unit2 My favourite season (设计意图:在教学中以旧引新,这样既能相应地降低教学的难度,也能带领学生温故而知新。) Step 2. Presentation 1. 教学单词:season(教师出示一张四季的照片并播放读音) Ss read after the teacher. Ss read the word in pairs. 2.T: How many seasons are there in a year? Ss:Four. (教师出示一张春天的图片) T:Look!My favourite season is spring.(引出单词spring) 板书spring并教读

Ss: spring, spring S-P-R –I-N-G spring(强调“p”的发音) (Repeat several times)

T: Wonderful. Now, please read this word one by one. (设计意图:通过看一看、听一听、读一读、拼一拼进行教学单词,使学生易于理解单词,掌握单词并且能正确运用单词。) T:What can you see in spring?

(设计意图:通过问题使学生回想春天的景色,并用已学过的单词表达出来,这样既使课堂丰富又能温故已学知识。) T:Spring is beautiful,so my favourite season is spring.That means I like spring best.(引出句型:I like ….best.) 板书:I like ….best.并教读

(设计意图:这样几组问答练习之后让学生对于句型:Which season do you like best?有个初步的理解)

T:所以同学们要想表达你最喜欢哪个季节该怎么说呢?

Ss: Which season do you like best? 板书该句型并教读。

Practice: Which season do you like best?

I like….best.

Ask and answer one by one/in pairs/in groups. 3. 用相似的方法教授summer,autumn,winter,并在教学单词的同时渗透句型Which season do you like best? I like….best.的问答,做到词不离句,句不离景。

Step3.Practise. 1.Students read all the words after the teacher. 2.Students look at the words cards and read the words as quickly as they can. 3.Ask and answer these sentenses:

(1)Which season do you like best?

(2)What’s the weather like in ….?

It’s ….

(3)What do you do in ….?

I often ….

(设计意图:这一系列活动的设计,是为了更好地巩固本课时的教学成果。通过情景交际活动,在说中运用巩固单词,达到在“学中用”,在“用中学”的效果,培养学生用英语进行交际活动的能力。)

I love you! Step4.Consolidation 1. Read and match (1) 教师在课件上呈现本部分图片,分别询问学生:Which season is it? 教师询问学生:Which season do you like best? 学生根据实际情况来回答。

(2) 学生将句子与相应的图片连线,师生一起核对答案。

2. Let’s chant

师生一起拍手边说边唱

(设计意图:Chant和歌曲很欢快,师生一起说唱,既增强了学英语的趣味性,又能让学生快速记住单词) Step5.Homework 1.Copy the words and sentences for 3 times. 2.Describe seasons with the words or sentences that you have learnt. 3.Collect some pictures about seasons or environment(环境),then discuss with

friends and classmates.
