Unit5 What do they do? (Story time) 三、单元分析

本单元的主要教学内容是职业名称和工作内容，同时继续呈现了动词的一般现在时第三人称单数形式及用法。教学重点是职业类动词和句型What do you do?和What does he/she do?及其回答

He/She is a . . .的语调和用法。教师在课前要求学生了解家人的职业和具体工作内容，为课堂教学做准备。在语法教学方面，教师可以将学生用书五年级上册Unit3中has的用法和unit4中likes用法作为话题引入活动，为学生学习更多动词的第三人称单数形式做好准备。教师在讲解动词加“s”或“es”转换成为第三人称单数形式时，可以给出多个实例，让学生自己总结转换的规律。

四、学情分析

知识基础：

1. 学生现有基础是什么？

话题基础：学生喜欢谈论职业类问题，问答气氛会比较好；

单词基础：在之前的学习过程中，学生对teacher, doctor, student, farmer等单词已经有了接触，能够容易理解；

句型基础：在五上三四单元中已经涉及第三人称单数，所以学生对do和does区分较熟悉。

2. 学生还缺什么？

单词：职业类新单词，如：writer, worker及描述职业具体工作等新单词不熟；

句型：问职业句型What do you/they do? What does he/she do?为新授，本节课需要学习并理解。

3. 学生可能遇到的问题：

描述职业具体工作的新单词会阻碍学生对课文的理解；

文本内容较长，所以在第一节课中可能达不到表演的要求。

4. 教学策略

A.通过观看动画，创设情境，组织游戏等活动帮助学生理解故事，建构知识。

B.在情境中教学新单词并加以操练。

C.让学生在主动探究、合作学习的过程中，内化知识，提升能力。

五、教学目标

1.学生能初步能理解并且会听、会说、会读单词或词组:teach, writer, factory worker, help sick people等；

2.学生能初步感知句型，能初步听懂并且会读，理解句型：What does…do? He’s / She’s a ….He/She…(s/es)…

3.学生能在老师的帮助下，在情境中理解、掌握对话内容，能用正确的语音语调

朗读对话，并初步表演对话。

六、教学重难点

【教学重点】

学生能在教师帮助下和情境中整体理解语篇，正确流利地朗读课文，并能初步表演课文。

【教学难点】

学生能够正确朗读write stories, help sick people, factory worker, make sweets等单词及词组；

教师能够通过课堂观察及时了解学生的不同学习需求，进行个性化指导。
