3. 能正确的理解并朗读课文，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

五、教学准备：PPT 六、Teaching procedures: Step 1 Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls. I'm your new friend. You can call me Miss He. I hope we'll have a good time here.

Step 2 Presentation T: Do you like songs? Let’s enjoy a song and relax!

(PPT shows the song) Ss: Enjoy the song. T: Do you like this song? What’s this song about?

Ss: Christmas. T: Yes. Christmas is very popular in Western County. And it is also an important festival in Western Country. What other festivals do you know? Ss: Say the names of festivals. T: Good. (Show different festivals)

Ss: ....... T: Great! Today I want to show you some traditional festivals in China. First, please watch the cartoon and tick: What festivals do you hear? (出示习题纸1，Then teach: Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival并贴在黑板上.) Ss: Read after the teacher. T: Great! In China, we call them "Chinese festivals" Today we'll learn and talk about “ Chinese festivals”（出示本课标题，带读，并贴在黑板上.）

Ss: Read after the T. T: As we know Spring Festival is very important in China. But do you know: (1).When is Spring Festival? (2). What do people do at Spring Festival? (3). What food do they eat? Please listen Part1 and choose. (出示习题纸2) Ss: Do the exercise. T: (Check the answers, 教师带读生词，同时将板书内容和学生一起复述一遍，为后面做准备) Nice! At Spring Festival we also can do more things. Look! (PPT shows 向学生拓展一些新的知识). At Spring Festival, we can get red packets from our parents. We can pay New Year calls.（教师可做动作）We can watch a lion dance. We can paste Spring Festival couplets. And so on. Ss: （学生也可以自己补充）

T: What about other three festivals? When are they? What do people do at these three festivals? And what food do people eat?

Now open the books, read Part 2,3&4 by yourselves, find the answers and fill in blanks.(出示习题纸3) Ss:(学生自读课文，完成习题纸3). T: Check the answers. (在校对答案时教授课文的新词，带读, 板书黑板.）

Step 3 While-reading

T: Excellent! This time let's read story time one by one. Ss: Read one by one. T: Then please read story time by yourselves.（四人一组，分角色读）You can choose one way to read! Go！

Ss: Read by themselves. T: Wonderful! After that, can you retell story time now? Four Ss in a group, then choose one to retell. I'll give you some minutes. Go! S1: Try to retell. S2: Try to retell. ....... T: Beautiful!

Ss: Discuss, write and show. Do you like these Chinese festivals? But we also have many other festivals in China. Can you say something about them? What festival do you like? T: (老师示范写)。

T: I'm very glad that all of you have got the knowledge points well. After class you can collect other Ss’

cards, put them together and decorate, then make a Festival book.

Step 4 Homework 1. Read the story time after the tape no less than five times. (跟磁带读课文不少于五遍.) 2. Introduce your favourite festival to your friends. (向你的朋友介绍自己喜欢的节日.) 3. Surf the Internet（上网）and know more about festivals. (上网收集资料, 了解更多的节日.)
