【文本解读】

本课元是江苏版译林小学英语五年级下册Unit4 Seeing the doctor，本单元的话题是“看病”，本课时是这个单元的第一课时（Story time），教学重点是有关询问和描述病情的句型“What’s wrong with...?”

和“...have/has a ...”，以及表示建议的情态动词should及其否定式shouldn’t的用法。

考虑到学生已经学过四年级下册Unit8 How are you?中相关话题的句型和疾病类单词“What’s the matter with...?/ I’m sorry to hear that.”和“cold, fever, cough, headache”，教学中可以采用以旧引新的方式展开，并将相关词句融入学生口语交际中，进一步丰富学生的表达。

在本课的教学中，教师可以巧设任务型学习活动，引导学生通过整体感知和分层阅读的方式，逐步感知和理解文本内容，达到熟练朗读课文，并能尝试复述课文的目标。另外，通过本课的学习，教师可以在教学中有机渗透相关的英语文化知识，拓宽学生们的文化视野。

1. 通过本课学习，学生能整体感知、理解文本主要内容，并能熟练朗读和尝试复述课文。

2.能在情景中听、说、读词组“see the doctor, have a rest, drink some warm water, take some medicine”。

3.能在情景中听、说、读重点句型“What’s wrong with you? I have …

/ What should I do? You should/ shouldn’t …”。

4.能初步运用本课词句来开展“see the doctor”的话题交际活动，激发学生学习兴趣，提高学生综合语用能力。

5.通过本课的学习，学生能学会主动关心他人，成为一个乐于助人，有爱心、耐心、细心的人。
