Knowledge aims: 1. 能听得懂、会读、会说单词和词组clean, cook, busy, parent, sweep the floor, wash the dishes. 2. 能听懂、会读、会说句型和日常交际用语I am/We are/They are sweeping the floor. He/She is cooking dinner. Ability aims: 1. 能正确的理解并朗读课文，在教师的引导和帮助下，借助图片或关键词尝试复述课文内容。

2. 能初步感知和理解现在进行时的用法

3. 培养学生的自学能力，掌握阅读技巧。

Emotional aims: 教学过程中，引导学生关心帮助自己的父母，多做一些力所能及的家务劳动。鼓励他们在家帮助父母承担家务，做一个乐于助人的人。

Teaching importances: 能正确理解、掌握故事内容，并能用正确的语音语调朗读、初步复述故事

1. 现在分词cleaning, sweeping, washing 等词的读音

T:You are so clever.Be doing is the form of present continuous tense.现在进行时

Pay attention,we should choose “is am are”according to the situation.我们要根据实际情况选择be动词的适当形式。

Look and find T: Look at the picture carefully and find out who they are and where they are. Ss: They are Mike’s father and Mike, Helen, Mike’s mother, Tim and Ben. They are in the living room, the kitchen and the bedroom. 补充：culture外国人经常把宠物当作家庭成员的一份子。（文化渗透）

Watch and match

(1) watch the cartoon(p48) and match what they are doing in the morning.

(2) Check the answer a. What is Mike’s father doing? He’s cleaning the car. Which picture is right? Read after the teacher.

b. What is Mike’s mother doing? She is cooking breakfast.

c. Let the students ask and answer:

What is Mike doing? He is helping his father. He is cleaning the car.

What are they doing? They are cleaning the car.

d. What is Helen doing?

She is sweeping the floor. (Helen is sweeping the floor.) e. What is Tim doing?

He is sleeping. (Tim is sleeping.)

What is Ben doing?

He is sleeping, too. (Ben is sleeping, too.) 2. Ask and answer

Use the pictures and the sentence structures to ask and answer with your partners .

Sentence structures: What is/are ... doing? He/She is... They are... 3.

Listen and imitate 4. Discuss the reading skills T: From the first passage, we know when? Who? What? Where? How to know a passage? Let’s discuss in groups.

5. Read and underline

(1) Read page 49 in slience and underline the sentences what they are doing in the afternoon.
