[Lead-in]

1) T will show five book covers (Twilight; A Song of Ice and Fire; Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland; The Lord of the Rings; The Chronicles of Narnia) and ask Ss to give the Chinese name accordingly.

2) T will put forward the concept of “Fantasy literature” and lead to the topic of passage---Harry Potter and J.K. Rowling.

[Preview homework]

Based on the structure and books mentioned in the lead in part, Ss are asked to work in group and collect information by themselves to prepare an oral report about an introduction of an author and a literature work.

10. Teaching reflection

During the trial-teaching process, I realized that the teaching aim should be clarified at the very beginning. Then all the activities and process serve for achieving the aim.

In addition, the teaching process should be logical and fluent. A connection between every activity is necessary as well.
