一.
Pre-task preparation
Play the recording of different sounds and have the
students colse their eyes and listen. Then ask them to
say what they can hear and guess where it is.
e.g.
T:play the recording of the sounds of some vehicles)
Listen!
What can you hear?
S1: I can hear a car.
S2: I can hear a bicycle.
T:
Guess.
Where is it?
Is it in a park?
S1: No.
It’s on a street.
二.
While-task procedure 1. Show the pictures for “Look and say” on page 2 of the
Student’s Book and have the students disscuss in pairs
what they can see.
Then have them listen to the
recording for “Look and say”.
Ask them to answer your
questions
E.g. T: What can Ben hear?
S1:
Ben can hear a ship.
T: What else can Ben hear?
S2:
He can hear an aeroplane.
T: What can Kitty see?
S3: She can se a bus and some cars.
2. Then play the recording again and ask the students to
repeat after it.
After that, plractise the dialogue
with them.
三.
Post-task activity. 1. Invite five students to come to the front.
Ask two of
them to start a dialogue and the others to imitate the sounds of a bus train, etc. e.g. S1: close your eyes,.
What can you hear? S2: C(close his/her eyes) S3: (imitate the sound of a train) …
