Module3 Things around us Unit 1 Shapes in our life 单元目标:1. 认识并掌握各种图形的表达:circle, star, rectangle, triangle, square;

2. 掌握句型“What shape is it?”并能够使用此句型询问物体的形状。

3. 学会用形状类的词语来描述物体。

4. 认识到每个形状都是很重要的,要学会互相组合。

课时安排:本单元分为两个课时,第一课时题目为

Shapes in our life ;第二课时题目为

I am useful.

Period 1 Shapes in our life

课时目标:知识目标:认识并掌握各种图形的表达:circle, star, rectangle, triangle, square;

技能目标:掌握句型“What shape is it?”并能够使用此句型询问物体的形状,

并学会用形状类的词语来描述物体。

情感目标:认识到每个形状都是很重要的,要学会创新组合。

课时设计:

step 1: Free talk Step2: T: Show the different shapes and ask students “What shape is it?”

Ss: It is a circle. It is a triangle. It is a rectangle. It is a square. It is a star.

T: Now let’s see what is missing. Ss: The triangle is missing. The square is missing. The rectangle is missing. The star is missing. Step 3:

T: Which shape do you like best? S1: I like the circle.

T: What is a circle? Ss: The ball is a circle. (Show the picture of the ball and practice the sentences: What is it?

It is a ____. What shape is it? It is a circle.)之后以同样的方法继续练习其他的图形。

Step4:T: We can use shapes to make different things. If I put two triangles together, what is it?

Ss: It is a butterfly tie. (Show the picture.) 依次介绍其他的图形。

T: Look at another picture. What is it?

Ss: It is a crown.

T: Look at his body. What shape is it?

Ss: It is a circle.

T: Look at his head, his eyes and his ears. What shape are they?

Ss: They are circles.

T: Look at his hands. What shape are they?

Ss: They are triangles. (Then the teacher gives the text to students sentence by sentence.) (Practice the text through group reading and personally reading.)

Step5:

T: Now look at the next picture. And fill in the blanks.(a robot)

Step 6:

T: show me your shapes and try to make a picture that you like and introduce it to your classmates.

Homework:Draw a picture with different shapes and introduce it to your friends.

Period 2 I am useful

T: Mr. Shapey is a robot. It was made by many shapes. Now let’s see what they are.(show the video of Mr. Shapey)---运用歌曲,在趣味中复习已经学过的单词。

利用alphablocks 中的自然拼读来学习和记忆这些单词。用What shape is it? It’s a…

来操练巩固。

Step4:

情境对话

T: All the shapes lived together happily before. But now they are quarrelling with each other. Let’s see what happen. Circle:

I am a circle. I have a big family. The sun is a circle. The moon is a circle. The earth is a circle. The coin is a circle. Any important thing is a circle. So I am the most useful shape. Square and triangle:

No! No! No! We have a big family too. Many buildings are squares and rectangles.

So we are the most useful shapes. Triangle:

I am a triangle. I am sad. I have not so many brothers and sisters. I am not

useful. Star:Don’t cry. Don’t cry. You are very useful. You can form a triangle. And you can form me -----star, too. All the shapes:

Every shape is very useful in the life. If we are together, we can form more things.

Homework:Find the things that made by different shapes in our life.
