Unit 6 Shopping Part B
Let’s talk
Today I’m going to talk about Part B of Unit 6 Shopping ,PEP Primary English, Book 4. This is a dialogue about how to ask and answer go shopping. Students have learned the expression of the prize, and on this basis will further master the expression of shopping. 1. Teaching Materials Firstly, I’d like to analyze the teaching materials . It includes 2 parts:

Teaching aims
1.Aims on the knowledge
(1) To read the dialogue correctly.
(2) To understand the context of the text, further study and use the
sentences. -How do you like this...?-It 's ... and correctly ask and answer the shopping in the situation. 2.Aims of the abilities (1)
To develop students abilities of listening and speaking. (2)
To train the students ability of working in groups.
(3)
To foster students abilities of communication and their innovation. 3.Aims of the emotion To guide rational consumption in our daily life.
Key points
(1) To output the correct sentences, the pronunciation and intonation in the text. (2)To understand the information in the dialogue with the help of key words and sentences. (3) To develop students interest in English. Difficult points (1)
Use the core sentence pattern -How do you like this…?-It 's ... (2)

Analysis of Students

Our students are Grade 4, they are naturally lovely, curious, like to express themselves, but some students are easily distracted in class. So
how to attract their attention is important. 3. Teaching Methods
In this lesson I’ll mainly use:

Teaching process I’ll finish this lesson in five steps. Step 1. Warm-up
and
revision 1.Sing a song to keep the students relax . 2.With the help of pictures,Free talk between teacher and students about prize. Step 2. Presentation 1.Lead-in
1.Watch the pictures to get the main information and new words in the dialogues. 2.Let’s chant about new words. Purpose: The purpose of this is to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss, and, at the same time, Ss can review the learnt knowledge
for the next step.

Presentation
I’ll mainly talk about this step. 1.
With the help of pictures to Learn new sentences -How do you like this...? -It 's .... 2.
Pay attention to the pictures and put them into the right orders. 3.
Listen again,finish the exercises.

Watch the picture and answer the questions. 5. Read the dialogue and lead the students to listen and imitate the dialogue. Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.
6. The teacher and students read the dialogues aloud and role play. Purpose: The purpose of this is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of their listening and speaking.
Step 3.Practice Make students use the core sentence patterns to correctly play a shopping game. Purpose:
Role-play method is much easier for the Ss to use the language in a real situation.Competition can arouse Ss’ interest in English learning. Group cooperation can develop their team spirit.
Step 4.Production The extension of the classroom teaching and the relearning of the students. Let the students know how to go shopping and guide
rational consumption.
Purpose: The purpose of this is to cultivate their abilities of summarize and independence.
In the class, students will remember the new words and use the key sentences skillfully by working in a group、playing games and role. After class, they can talk about with their friends. In short, everyone will learn happily. Step 5.Homework 1.
Listen to the tape and imitate. 2.Skilled in the sentences “Can I help you ? How much is it ? It’s …yuan”.
