Unit4 When is Easter 教学内容：Page45 Part C :Story time 教学目标：

1、复习巩固句型The singing contest will be on May 4th.I can’ t…I want to …等；

2、通过图片及上下文理解新句子Practice makes perfect等；

3、能够理解故事内容并正确朗读故事。

教学方法：小组合作等。 课前准备：小黑板，头饰等。 教学重难点：

1、理解英语谚语“Practice makes perfect”的深刻含义；

2、能够表演故事内容。

教学过程：

Step1 :Warm up

热身（用时3分钟）

Main scene 1．Review the months. 2.Ask and answer: When is your birthday? 3.请学生翻译重点句子(小黑板呈现）

Step 2. Presentation新课内容展示（用时25分钟）

1.

Listen to the tape. There will be a singing test on May 4th .What happened to zoom .Now,let’s listen to the tape together.

2.

教师提问：Who’s Zoom’s music teacher?引导学生说出：Ms Bird is Zoom’s music teacher.出示第一幅图，说：Look!Today is April 30th .Ms Bird says,“The singing test will be on May 4th .”Look at Zoom.What will he say?Can he sing well?引导学生观察图片中Zoom担心紧张的表情。

教师播放第一幅图的录音，学生听录音，模仿读出Zoom紧张的语气和Zip安慰的语气。教师问：What does Zip say? What happens? 4.

继续播放视频，学生看完后回答问题：Can Zoom sing well?引导学生关注Zoom从can’t sing well到can sing well转变过程中所付出的努力。

5.

让学生再次观看视频，提问：What does “Practice makes perfect”mean?教师板书Practice makes perfect。学生朗读谚语。

6.

学生分小组表演故事片段，然后教师选几组进行展示。
