At Christmas 一、教学目标：

知识目标：

1. 在整体理解课文的基础上听懂、会说、会读以下词汇：Christmas, Christmas Eve, Christmas day, Christmas tree, present, Father Christmas, pretty thing, stocking, wait for, finally, turkey, pudding, all, have a good time, buy, put, early；

2. 基于故事听懂、会说、会读表示先后顺序的词：first, next, then, finally及相应的描述圣诞活动的句子：First, we buy presents. Next, we put pretty things on the Christmas tree. Then, Christmas Eve comes. Finally, it is Christmas Day.；

能力目标：

1. 能了解有关圣诞节的活动。

2. 能初步运用First…Next…Then…Finally…句型来叙述圣诞节活动的先后顺序。

3. 能较流利有感情地朗读故事，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

情感目标：

使学生对西方国家文化与礼仪有一个初步的了解，培养学生中西方文化交际的能力。

教学重点：

1. 能听、说、读大量与圣诞相关的词汇；

2. 能使用表示先后顺序的副词first, next, then, finally来描述圣诞活动。

教学难点：

能够按时间顺序连贯地表达圣诞活动。

教学准备：

糖果、圣诞树、小礼物、多媒体

教学过程：

Step1：

Warming up: 1.

Hello, children, let’s enjoy a song first. (播放音乐) Q: What is this about? S: Christmas! T: Yes，it’s a Christmas song.

T: All these are about Christmas. Look! (课件出示以下图片：Christmas card, Christmas tree, turkey, pudding, present, Father Christma, stocking, angel, reindeer) Do you like them? 【设计意图：营造圣诞氛围，让学生从听觉和视觉多方位感受圣诞，激活学生已有旧知。】

Step2: Presentation

T: Christmas is the on the 25th of December. Do you know what people do at Christmas? Let’s watch the story about Mike and his family.
