Teaching Goals: 1. Students will be able to aurally understand, orally use and recognize the following vocabulary:

hair, eye, ear, mouth, nose, face 2. Students will be able to aurally understand, orally use and recognize the following vocabulary: left, right Teaching Preparation: Multimedia CD, Poster of body, Flash cards Teaching Procedures: Step 1: Greeting

（1）Hello, boys and girls!

How are you today? Nice to meet you. （2）Sing a song. (twice)

The first time all the students sing it together. （第一遍齐唱）

As the song is played the second time, all the students stand up.

The teacher and the students sing and do the actions together.（第二遍所有学生起立，边唱边做动作）

（3）Show a picture about the words of body and ask the students “what is it? ”. (shoulder, arm, hand, finger, knee, leg, foot(feet), toe, stomach, head) Step 2: New concepts

Tell students: Today we will learn some new words about our body. （1）Point to the eye and ask “What is it?”

(学生摇摇头，显出疑问的样子。) T：It’s an eye. Ss：Eye.（学生惊喜地瞪大了眼睛）

T：They are two eyes.（双手指两只眼睛）

Ss：Eyes.

(2) Show a picture of the eye on the PPT and teach the new word “eye”. (齐读，小组读，男女生读，一条龙读)

Let the students look at the picture and study the other new words: ear, hair, face.

（板书eye, ear, hair, face, 其中eye和ear用红色字标注其复数加s，face的a也用红色笔标注出来，提醒孩子发音）

(4) Play the audiotape as the students follow in their books and then repeat the words after the speaker. (5) Play games ① Teacher point to parts of her body and students say the name of it. (老师指自己的身体部位，学生说出身体部位的名字) ② Simon says：Ask a student to stand in front of the whole class. This student say the words of the body, and the others point to their parts of body. （让一个学生站到前边说身体部位，其他同学指自己的身体部位）

Put the poster of body parts on the blackboard and ask students to stick the flash cards of body parts in place. （在黑板上张贴一张人物张贴画，让学生来把词汇卡片粘贴到相应的位置）

(6) Teach the new concepts left and right. ①

T: I have two hands. (举起双手)

This is my right hand.（伸出右手）

What is right?（询问学生什么是right）

Ss: Answer the question. Write the word “right” on the blackboard. （板书right，其中i用红色字体标注出来提示孩子发音）

Teach the phrase: left hand, right hand, left foot and right foot. Step 3: Learn to sing the chant

Play the chant and allow the students to listen to it twice. As the chant is played the second time, the teacher does the actions as they are called in the chant(show left hand, show right hand, show left foot, show right foot). Then teach students the chant and sing together. （边说句子，边做动作。通过动作帮助对语言的理解，便于学生掌握。）

Step 4: Do exercise (Page 56) Step 5: Homework: 1. Write six new words for four times. 2. Sing the song. 3. Do the exercises.
