Unit3 Are you happy? 一,教学目标:

1,帮助学生学习Look and learn中表示感觉的单词thirsty, happy, sad, tired, hungry, full。

2,通过猜谜游戏和看图造句活动,帮助学生巩固词汇学习,结合句型I am happy/…表达感受,为询问别人的感觉打下基础。

二,教学重点:

词汇:happy, sad, tired, hungry, full, thirsty 句型:I'm happy. 三,教学难点:

1,区别thirsty和hungry的发音及意思。

2,理解并区分How are you?在不同情境下的含义和回答。

四,教学准备:

五,教学过程:

Step1:Warm up 1,播放歌曲《If you are happy》。

T:Hello,everyone! Welcome to English lesson. Ok,Today we well learn is 3 units。Now, if you are not happy,Let's Listen to a song.Ok,You can listen and do the actions.Ok? S:Yes. T:That we just listen to this song are you happy?(板书课题:Are you

happy?) (设计意图:通过播放歌曲动画If you are happy,让学生感知,学习

“happy”这个单词,进而导入课题“Are you happy?,同时初步感知本课的核心句型:I'm happy.Are you happy?及其答语。)

Step2:Learn the new words. 1,出示课件,一个小男孩和Jill的对话图片。

Boy:Hello,Jill,How are you ? Jill:I'm very well.And I'm happy too.Look! I can dance well. 出示Look and learn 的笑脸图片。学习happy 这个单词。

2,出示课件,Look and learn 的单词图片sad, tired, hungry, full, thirsty,请学生认读单词. T:(point to the girl crying)How does she feel? S:伤心的。

T:Ok,She'sad.学习单词sad. 依次出现新单词tired, hungry, full, thirsty,请学生认读单词. Step3:Post--task activities.(活动)

1,T:Look at my mouth,Then,you say the words quickly.(看口型快速说出单词)

2,Let's play a game.Look and say quickly.(出示图片,学生举手快速说出单词)。

3,Play a guessing game T:Now, practice in pairs.One do the action, one guess and ask”Are

you …?”

(设计意图:通过肢体语言,面部表情,多媒体,实物等多种方式引导学生运用核心举行:I'm happy. Are you happy?及其答语学习thirsty, happy, sad, tired, hungry, full等单词,再通过看口型说单词,看图片说句子和Play a guessing game三个活动对单词的学习和核心句型加以巩固运用,让学生在轻松愉快的活动中掌握核心词汇和句型。)

Step4:Practice 1:让学生说一说在什么情况下会感到thirsty/happy/sad/tired/hungry/full,在这些时候喜欢做什么。

T:I'm happy. I sing a song. I dance .I listen to the music.I go shopping. 2,Read and complete.(读句子,根据句意在横线上填上合适的形容词。)
