二、学生情况分析

本单元的主题为In the shop, 教材为学生创设了商点和超市购物的情境，主要学习六种食品的量词词组，句型How much is it/ are they?及回答。

通过一至三年级学习，学生已经掌握了较多的食物类单词，如sweets, bread, noodles, chocolates, biscuits, water等，也理解食物类、饮料类单词的可数和不可数的特性，学生已经知道疑问词组How much的含义，并且能够进行简单的回答。关于购物情境的描述，学生在1AM3U2，1AM3U3, 1BM1U3，1BM2U1，3BM1U3中已经学习了相关句型：Can I help you? May I have some..., please? How many? How much are they? ...yuan. Here you are. Thanks.等，学生能用英语就购物情境进行简单对话。

鉴于教材和学生的情况，将本单元的主题设定为

Shopping in the Animal Town , 三课时的话题分别为“In Panda’s Glasses Shop”, “In Monkey’s Fast Food Restaurant”和

“Shopping for Christmas”. 以小鼹鼠和小象这两个角色贯穿整个单元。第一课时，将Read a story 中的故事Panda’s Glasses Shop作为教学内容，引入整个单元，要求学生理解这个故事，初步感知句型How much are they? They are…的意思和使用方法，初步了解日常购物用语；第二课时，以Learn the sounds儿歌引入，将Look and learn 板块中的

a bottle of water, a bowl of noodles 和Look

and say句型相整合，适当拓展了一些饮料的量词词组，进一步熟悉句型How much is it/are they? It is/They are…以及购物场景中的日常用语；第三课时将Listen and enjoy，ask and answer和Say and act 进行整合，结合语篇学习，在语境中运用合适的语言完成购物。

I want the red glasses. How much are they? Mr Panda: They’re eleven forest yuan. Mrs Mole: Here’s the money. Mr Panda: Thank you.

Mr Panda: Welcome. What can I do for you? Mr Elephant: Summer is coming. I want to go to the beach. Do you have any big sunglasses? Mr Panda: Of course. Which do you want? Mr Elephant: The brown sunglasses. How much are they? Mr Panda: They are sixteen forest yuan. Mr Elephant: Here’s the money. Mr Panda: Thank you.

Little Elephant: I want to play with Little Mole Little Mole: I want to play with Little Elephant. Mr Panda: Don’t worry. I have an idea. Put on these magic glasses.

Mr Monkey: Welcome, dear friends. What can I do for you?

Little Mole: I want a bowl of noodles. Little Elephant: Me, too. And two bottles of water, please.

Little Mole: Water? Oh, no, no.... I don’t like it. May I have a bottle of juice, please?

Mr Monkey: All right. Two bowls of noodles, a bottle of water and a bottle of juice. After a while... Mr Monkey: Lunch is ready. Here you are.

Little Mole: Oh, they are so big, I can’t eat or drink.

Little Elephant: Oh, they are so small. I can’t eat or drink, either.

Mr Monkey: I have a good idea. You can put on your magic glasses.

Little Elephant/Little Mole: Yes, you are so clever. Thank you.

(Put on their magic glasses) Now we can eat and drink.

Little Mole: How much are they? Mr Monkey: A bowl of noodles is five forest yuan. A bottle of water is two forest yuan. And a bottle of juice is three forest yuan. Forest Christmas is coming. Mole’s family and Elephant’s family are preparing for it. Little Mole and his mother, Little Elephant and his father come to the supermarket. 

内容

At the magic things section Little Mole: Wow! So many magic things. Magic Christmas trees, magic toys, magic glasses, magic pencils... May I have two pairs of magic glasses for grandparents, Mum? They can’t see well.

Mother Mole: Sure. How much are they?

Little Mole: The black pair of magic glasses is twenty forest yuan. The purple one is twenty-two yuan.

Little Elephant: May I have a magic pencil, Dad? It’s a Christmas present for my good friend.

Father Elephant: OK. And you can have a magic Christmas tree. Let’s decorate our home.

Little Elephant: Thank you, Dad. They are forty yuan in all.

At the Bakery Section

Mother Mole: Here’s the bakery section. Let’s have a loaf of bread, Little Mole.

Little Mole: May I have some cakes too, Mum?

Mother Mole: All right. But how much is the bread? I can’t see well.

Little Mole: Mum, you can put on your glasses.

Mother Mole: Good idea, baby! I can see clearly. The loaf of bread is seventeen forest yuan. And two cakes are fifteen yuan.

Little Mole: Mum, we have bread and cakes. Now let’s go to the fruit section. Dad likes eating fruits. Mother Mole: Let’s go!

At the Snack Section Little Elephant: Look, Dad. So many nice food! May I have a packet of sweets? Father Elephant: Sure.

Little Elephant: Thank you, Dad. And may I have a bar of chocolate?

Father Elephant: You can have a small bar of chocolate. But don’t eat too much. It’s bad for your teeth.

Little Elephant: I know. I can share it with my friends.

Father Elephant: Let’s have a packet of biscuits.

Little Elephant: A packet of biscuits is twelve forest yuan. A packet of sweets is eleven forest yuan. A small bar of chocolate is ten forest yuan. They are thirty -three forest yuan in all.
