教学目标：

1、能听懂Let’s Learn more 部分的短文，正确理解并能灵活运用care for,on the earth,do bad things to,too many/much等短语。

2、通过对短文的学习，培养学生的快速阅读能力。

3、通过对短文的学习，增强学生的环保意识。

教学准备：

1、教师准备：

（1）Let’s learn more部分的录音磁带，CAI课件。

（2）课件准备下列句子：

1. There are______trees,flowers,rivers and ______on the earth.

2. We cut down______

________trees.

3. We waste________

__________water and make the air_____. (3)

一张地球的图片和CAI 课件

2、学生准备：

（1）一盒彩笔

（2）一些彩纸

教学过程：

一、课程导入（leading in ）

1、师生互相打招呼

2、一起唱英文儿歌热身

（播放视频《walking walking》）

3、新课导入

教师出示所准备的短文主题图，引导学生观察和学生进行讨论。

T:Hello,boys and girls.look at the earth.we live on the earth.It’s our home.It’s our mother earth. Where do we live,can you point it out?

二、新课展示Part B Let’s learn more

1、教师结合短文内容提出问题，然后播放录音，让学生带着问题听短文，了解短文大意。

Question 1:What bad things do we do to our earth?

Question 2:What should we do? 2、教师再次播放录音，播放完毕后，随机选出几位学生回答上面的两个问题，检测他们对短文的理解情况。

Answer 1:We cut down too many trees.We waste too much water and make the air dirty.

Answer 2:We should care for our earth.We should do something to make the water and the air clean.We should plant more trees and hlep the animals. 三、阅读理解

1.让学生读短文的第一、二段，然后用课件展示下列句子，让学生根据阅读的内容补全下列句子：

1. There are______trees,flowers,rivers and ______on the earth. 2. We cut down______

________trees.

3. We waste______

_______water and make the air_____. 参考答案：（1）many,mountions (2)too many (3)too much,dirty 2、教师让学生勾画出各自在阅读课文时遇到的不熟悉的词语，先请同学们根据语境猜猜这些词语的意思，之后老师解惑答疑，讲解短语care for,do bad things to.

(1)care for 关心、爱护；如：

Alice has a white rabbit and she care for it.(爱丽丝爱护她的下白天。)

(2)do bad things to 对....做坏事，损坏......；如：

We are friends.We shouldn’t do bad things to each other.

（我们是好朋友。我们不应该对彼此做坏事。）

教师鼓励学生试着用care for 、do bad things 说话，或教师给出汉语让学生说出英语：

1、爸爸妈妈都很爱护我。

My father and mother care for me very much.

2、我们要爱护这些小树苗。

We should care for the small trees.

3、人们不应该做损坏我们地球的事情。

People shouldn’t do bad things to our earth.

3、让学生以小组为单位讨论many,too many,much,too much 的用法，

最后由教师进行汇总概括。

四、巩固活动

1、教师播放录音，学生集体跟读课文，教师注意纠正学生的发音问题。

2、学生通过读短文，完成Read again and tick or corss部分的练习。
