1.教材分析

本堂为新授课，第一课时。本文所处的单元主题语境是自然界的生物，本文介绍的生物是蜘蛛，全文围绕蜘蛛的三个方面展开。第一关于蜘蛛防虫害的作用，它是农民害虫防治所采纳的自然方法。第二是关于蜘蛛丝的特性，

它有结实，轻盈和有弹性的特点，因此被用于宇航飞船，人造器官和防弹背心中。第三是关于蜘蛛毒素的作用，它也是有用的，对人类基本无危险，可用于医疗中。通过本文的学习，学生不但了解课文大意，掌握一系列关于此主题的重点字词句，并运用习得语言表达想法，

与此同时也树立了对蜘蛛这种生物正确的认知，从而懂得要保护生物的重要性。

2.学情分析

本堂课的授课学生为莘庄中学高一（9）班的学生，因为已进入高中学习近一年，已经了解高中英语学习的基本要求，掌握了一定英语学习方法，具备了一定的语言能力，但是在捕捉文本细节，理解大意，词义推测，用习得语言表达观点等的能力有待培养和加强，词汇量需进一步扩大，因此通过本课教学活动的开展希望能让学生能在上述方面有所锻炼和培养。

3. 本课设计思路

本课教学目标是理解课文大意，重点是寻找蜘蛛防虫害，蜘蛛丝特性和蜘蛛毒素作用的细节信息，并掌握相关重点表达。因此在pre-task引出话题后，在while-task部分，按照上述关于蜘蛛的三方面，引导学生分段落阅读课文，逐一进行信息捕捉和分析，通过提问，追问，填空等方式理解各部分的大意，在探讨蜘蛛防治害虫和蜘蛛丝用途这两方面，我追问了两个问题培养学生的批判性思维和创造性思维。在post-task部分，我设计了一个团队报告活动，让学生能学以致用，为了降低难度，我提供了一个模板让学生参考，进一步复习巩固本堂课所学的重点词句并树立了正确的对蜘蛛的观念。

4.教学重点

引导学生寻找并理解文中关于蜘蛛防虫害，蜘蛛丝和蜘蛛毒素的细节信息
