Language goal

1.What are you doing?

I am reading. 2.Names of some activities,such as: eating , watching TV, doing my homework, sleeping ,etc. Teaching procedure: 1.Warming The song of , Ps can pritise to say We are singing ,we are dancing. The chant of . It can help them revise some verbs: swim ,fly, run, dance ,read.

Show a picture of some animals. Free talking Show two pictures to the Ps,

one is about sports, the other is about some interesting activities. Talk about them with the Ps. 1.Do you like watching TV /drawing /playing football ? 1.What’s your favourite sport ? 2.What do you like best ? Singing ,dancing or reading?

Ps try to say some -ing forms.

Presentation

1. Before the class ,T took photos and videos of some children .In class ,show them by PPT

Have the pupils say “ He/She is +name.” Then teach them to ask each child “What are you

doing?” . After watching each video, The child in the VCR should stand up and answer “I’m v-ing.” At the same time T asks “ what is she /he doing?”

Ps try snswer “She /He is v-ing. ”

After that ,show all of the sentences on the screen .Ps read them aloud and think, encourage the them to find the rule :be+v-ing, and try guess the meaning. Textbook 1.

设计思路

1. 复习和引入

我使用孩子熟悉的chant来帮他们复习常见的动词,在唱<> 时,孩子们不知不觉间就会说We are singing. We are dancing.了。以前学生还见过一些动名词,也就是说他们对ing形式不陌生,在谈论爱好,最喜欢时,就可以让练习时候ing形式了。

新课呈现

在教室里比比划划,或者观看普通的幻灯片,已激不起他们太大的兴趣,所以我让孩子们当演员,为他们拍了几段视频,播放时能激发其他孩子强烈好奇:xxx, what are you doing?.小演员们就可以很自然地呈现新语言了。不过演员的培训工作要提前做好。

3,内容处理

课本中只有一二人称I you

我觉得不能只局限于此。在听说练习中应该很自然地同时呈现she
