1. Learning Material In the coursebook of the Chongqing University Press Edition. In lesson 1&2, students have learned some hobbies , the presentation of time,some sentence patterns and how to talk with others. But most students still can’t use the sentence pattern freely.
——When is the tiger show?
——It’s in the afternoon . ——What time?
——At 2:30 ... ——Do you like...?
——Yes, I do/ No,I don’t. ——When do you...?
—— ... ·make a time table
2. Overall Design Idea Time is widely used in our daily life. We need the time everywhere. It’s said in the New Curriculum Standards that cultural consciousness is one of the comprehensive abilities in English using. It’s also said that it’s meaningless to learning a language without mention of it’s culture. In this lesson, I’ll guide students to use the sentence in a real communication. By the end of this lesson, students should be able to use the sentence to talk with others freely.
At the same time, students can make a time table of one’s day. Only in that way, students can get a meaningful study.
3. Learning Outcome By the end of this lesson, students can ·
speak out the hobby at a quick response, and do the gesture .
·use the sentence pattern freely: ——Do you like...?
——Yes, I do/ No,I don’t. ——What do you like?
