教学内容及学情分析

本课让学生在真实的情境中，经历过生日的过程。在这个过程中学会生日聚会的词汇、短语和句型，学会介绍和描述生日聚会。体会过生日时的愉悦心情。Here is /are…for you.

六年级学生有较强的观察力和模仿力，他们的英语学习的各个方面都已经走上正轨，有自己的学习策略和方法。一部分同学对英语很有兴趣，积极性很高，乐于在课堂上用英语表达自己的真实感受，特别是贴近日常生活的内容。本课涉及生日情景，学生非常感兴趣，乐于参与体验和表达。而且学生之前已接触过相关知识的学习，对这部分内容来说，学生们表达并不困难，但缺乏系统的学习；也有的同学学的快忘得也快，这些都是对教师的挑战。

教学目标

1.学生能够正确听、说、认读短语light the candles, sing the

birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake, eat the cake 和句子Here's a/an/some...for you.Here are some...for you. 2.能够在真实情境中正确理解和运用Here's a/an/some...for you.Here are some...for you.通过创编对话学生尝试运用本课所学的短语和句型应用于日常生活中。60%的学生可以结合之前学过的旧知融合在一起，30%学生可以将本课的对话呈现出来，5%学生能够流利的读出本课对话。

3.学生了解日常生活中的一些礼仪，比如同学过生日要送上真挚的祝福。别人送给你礼物和祝福时要表示感谢。通过话题的谈论和情景的创设，培养学生感恩父母，回馈他人的美好情感；在真实的交际活动中丰富学生的生活体验，培养学生的合作意识。

教学重点

1.能听、说、读以下词组：light the candles, sing the birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake.并能够在真实的情境中灵活运用。

2.能理解、说出以下句子：

（1）Here is a teddy bear for you. （2） Have a piece of cake, please. （3）Let’s light the candles and sing the birthday song. （4）Make a wish and blow out the candles.

教学难点

能够在真实语境中，围绕生日聚会的主题，运用本课所学的语言知识，进行初步交流。

教学准备

教材、蜡烛、蛋糕、餐具、布置生日派对的材料、课件等。

教学过程 Step 1 Warm up Ask some questions. 1.Today is Lisa’s birthday. Yesterday Lisa invited her friends to her birthday party. How did she invite? 2.Now, her mother is preparing for Lisa’s birthday. What does she prepare? Can you guess,what else does Lisa’s mother prepare? She prepares a lot of delicious food for Lisa’s birthday. Do you want to Lisa’s birthday party? 【设计意图】

通过师生间自然的交流，激活学生的思维，快速进入学习情境。复习邀请朋友、为生日聚会做准备，为新课学习做好铺垫。

Step 2 Presentation 1)

学习Here's a/an/some...for you. Here are some...for you.句型

Now, Lisa also wants to invite all of you to her birthday party. Let's listen. Lisa: Would you like to come to my birthday party? Ss: Sure. I'd love to. T: Great! Let's go. Here we are at Lisa's birthday party. Lisa's friends give her some gifts. What are they? A teddy bear, some chocolates and a story book. We should give Lisa a gift, too. What's your gift? You can say: Here is an English book for you. You can also say: I have an English story book for you. Please say to Lisa. Lisa answers: Thank you very much!/ Thank you. I like it very much. Practise the sentence. 【设计意图】

通过描述生日派对中准备的丰盛的食物，激起学生想要参加的欲望，并通过人机对话的方式，Lisa邀请同学们参加她的生日派对，将学生带入真实的语境中，同样通过人机对话的方式鼓励学生将自己准备的礼物送给Lisa，从而达到操练句型的目的。

2) 学习celebrate the birthday 短语和句型

T：Oh, So many gifts for Lisa. Lisa is very happy. And we are happy, too. Shall we begin the party? Ss: Yeah! Let's begin the party. The students ask and answer. Let's listen to the tape. And think how do they celebrate the birthday? That's a great birthday party. At the birthday party, first, what should we do? Ss: We should light the candles. 讲解Light的用法，动词：点燃；名词：灯；形容词：明亮的

Read the phrase in group. T: First, they light the candles and then.... 引导学生说出sing the birthday song 这个短语

并操练句型Let's light the candles and then sing the birthday song. After that, what does Lisa do? Lisa makes a wish and blows out the candles. Ask and answer in groups. S: Lisa , make a wish and blow out the candles. Lisa: All right. Let me make a wish.

【设计意图】借助课件让学生亲身经历Lisa的生日，形象生动地让学生理解感知light the candles ，sing the birthday song，make a wish and blow out the candles这几个短语，通过教师不断的问题激发学生运用句型的思维能力。

3）Let’s chant. 教师组织学生将前面所学的知识变成韵律诗并表演出来Shall we begin the party? Yeah! Let's begin the party. Light, light ,light the candles. Sing, sing, sing the birthday song. Make, make, make a wish. Blow, blow, blow out the candles. 师生共同操练，生生之间进行操练，小组展示。

【设计意图】通过chant的形式来进行本课教学难点的突破。在韵律诗中学生自然而然地就将本课的这几个短语和句型练熟、会用了。

4）学习短语cut the cake 和eat the cake Here is a birthday cake for Lisa. Do you want to eat it? First, we should cut the cake and then eat the cake. You can say: Have a piece of cake, please. 讲解a piece of的意思及用法a piece of cake/ bread/ paper,

Two pieces of cake/ bread/ paper. 【设计意图】教师在学生的惊叹声中拿出一个蛋糕，想要和学生分享，引导学生说出Let’s cut the cake and eat the cake. 句型。

Step 3 Practice: 1）We have a great party. Let’s read the dialogue and act it out. 跟录音读、全体读、小组读。

【设计意图】：通过读课文环节使学生把本课所学知识进一步复习、巩固，将知识整体的融合在一起，在头脑中形成一个知识体系。

2）Let’s retell the dialogue. 【设计意图】鼓励学生试着用第三人称的口吻来复述本课内容，教师给出一定的提示，让学生根据提示用自己的语言复述课文，训练学生的语言运用能力。

3）Make a new dialogue in groups. 【设计意图】鼓励学生将本单元的知识进行一个整合和运用，编排一个类似课本剧的小对话，分为三个场景，分别表演出Lisa是如何邀请、如何准备以及如何进行生日派对。学生将所学知识内化再输出的过程，训练灵活运用语言的能力。

8）知识拓展：Why do we put candles on a birthday cake? Step 4 Homework:

Must do: 1. Recite the dialogue. 2.Summarize the notes. Choose to do: Describe your birthday. 【设计意图】：作业分出层次既可以面向全体学生又可以做到因材施教，照顾到不同层次的学生，使每个学生都有所收获和提高。同时告诉学生利用网络搜索搜集信息的途径，将课堂延展到课外，拓宽学生学习和运用英语的渠道，培养学生搜集信息自主学习的能力。
