2. 能听懂、会读、会说句型:What do you do at weekends? I always…

3. 能够较准确地朗读课文，并在教师的指导下尝试表演。

4. 能尝试以第三人称方式复述课文中每个人的周末活动。

5.能运用本单元所学的词汇和句型谈论周末活动，并能自己尝试用第三者角度描述他人周末活动。

教师自我介绍，引出课题。

T：Today I am your new English teacher.Do you want to know about me? Ss try to ask. T:You can ask me well.Let’s know more about me. PPT出示一段话，揭示 on Sundays and Saturdays = at weekends 教读“at weekends ”

引出课题Unit7At Weekends。

【设计意图：让学生以提问老师的方式来揭题，开门见山，调动学生已有知识储备的同时，为下面更好的交流作铺垫。】

Step2. Presentation and practice

（一）Preface

1.Free talk T：I usually read books at weekends.What do you do at weekends? Ss try to answer. 1.

Try to ask T:Look!Who are coming?Do you have any questions about them? 板书：Su Hai

Ss try to ask. 3.Watch and choose:What are they talking about? T:Look!I have a question too.What are they talking about? Ss watch and choose. 4.

Let’s read the preface together. 【设计意图：文本仅仅提供了主人公谈论周末的对话，稍显突兀，通过让学生对图片进行自主提问预设，再回答的形式来再构序言部分，增强了课文的整体性，提高学生自主学习的能力，让学生获得成功的体验。】

（二）Learn the story time 1.

PPT呈现Let’s learn :How to ask weekends? (1)

Students read the whole text and underline the questions in order. (2)

Check them out and read together. 【设计意图：让学生快速浏览课文找出谈论周末的句子，以此为主线来进行文本的教学，线索清晰，循序渐进。】

Learn the first paragraph (1)

Read and find T:Please read paragraph one and underline the things Su Hai does. 1)Learn:visits her grandparents（板书）

教读visit ,grandparents 词组请2~3生读。

b.

Teach the meaning of”visit”(三个答案给学生选意思。）

c.

Let’s talk.Why does Su Hai usually visit her grandparents? 渗透情感：Love makes people more beautiful.

Love makes the world warmer. 【设计意图：现在的学生独生子女居多，关爱他人方面情感缺失，通过设问Why does Su Hai usually visit her grandparents?来渗透关爱他人的情感，让学生有进一步深刻的体会。】

2)Learn:has dinner with her grandparents.(板书）请2~3生读。

3)How often does Su Hai do all these?

The students read the first paragraph again quickly and circle the words like:always,usually,often and sometimes. Students try to answer with a sentence.（板书：usually

often）

Let the students read the word“often”

in boys and girls. (2)

Let’s read paragraph one together. (3)

Try to retell. T:You can read it well.Now let’s retell Su Hai’s weekends together. 老师引导学生复述。请男女生各一复述。

【设计意图：苏海周末做的事相对简单，本段主要教会学生运用划线，圈词的方法来引导学生学习文本内容，为下面独立学习Helen,Mike de 文本作铺垫。】

Learn paragraph two and three. (1)Read and do:What does Su Hai do at weekends and what does Mike do at weekends? T: Please read paragraph two and three quickly ,underline and circle the key words and phrases and finish their information as the blackboard design. 1)The students try to finish their information. 2)Ask and tick:What does Su Hai do at weekends? T:I ask ,all of you answer together and I’d like one student to come to the blackboard to stick on the black. 学生贴板书：always ,has dancing lessons

sometimes, goes to the cinema with her friends Let the student to teach the other to read:always. 3)Check :What does Mike do at weekends? a.The students say one by one ,and the teachers stick them on the blackboard.(板书）

Learn the phrase:chat on the Internet (强调元音前the 的发音）

b.Learn more:What else can we do on the Internet? T：Internet is useful.What else can we do on the Internet? The students talk in groups and then say one by one. PPT呈现可以在网上做的事情图片，学生试说。

Let’s think:What do you think of their weekends? T:From now on we know their weekends clearly.What do you think of their weekends? The students say one by one.

PPT呈现老师的答案：Their weekends are nice.再构文本结尾。

（3）Let’s read paragraph2&3together. （4）Read in four and show. （5）Retell their three’s weekends together. 【设计意图：在处理文本板块时，采用分段学习的方法，先充分指导学生学习第一段，接着放手让学生在老师的引导下，运用学习方法自学文本，做到授之以鱼不如授之以渔场，培养学生自主学习的能力，同时挖掘文章情感，渗透道德教育。】

Step3.Consolidation 1.Make a report. T:Today is Friday.The weekend is coming.Please be a reporter to ask your group members:What does he /she do at weekends? 1)Step1.Ask and answer in groups. 2)Step2.Show your report. 2.Enjoy some pictures about weekends. (Wonderful weekends,beautiful life!) 【设计意图：学习的最终目的是为了运用，而不是储存。在和小组成员进行对话训练，乃至最后介绍，不仅锻炼了他们的胆量，更有利于突破本课重难点的教学，提高学生的英语技能、活跃思维，给每个人的空间更广，展现的机会更多。】
