Step 1 Greetings

(1) Greet the students with: Hello! Nice to meet you. How are you?

(2) Sing a song “How are you?”

Step 2 New concepts

(1) Lesson hook Ah, a beautiful song, thank you .Class, I am very happy, are you ready for a new lesson, are you ready?[tTell the students today we’ll learn about how to express our feelings in English (2) Use the actions and PPT pictures to learn the new words. (3) Practise the new words using differents ways and do exercise 1. (4) Show the sentences:

How do you feel? I feel ____./I’m ____. Teach the new patterns.

(5) Listen to the tape and follow it,then do exercise 2. (6) Practise inquiring about another’s feelings by leading the class through dialogues such as: A: How are you? B: Fine, thanks. How are you? A: I feel happy/sad. B: How do you feel? A:I feel____./ I’m ____. (7) show their dialogues. (8) Learn the song: How do you feel?

Step 3 Homework: 1,listen to the tape and follow it. 2,copy the new words three times. 3,Find 3 friends to do the dialogue.
