objective: 1.
Can read and use the words or phrases: enough, not enough, plenty of, too much, healthy, unhealthy, chocolate, candy, junk food, get plenty of exercise 2.
Can read the target and role-play 3.
Can talk about the lifestyle with others fluently.
Teaching process: 一.Warm up: Sing a song (What’s the matter, Gogo?) (根据动画唱歌激趣,引入情境教学。)
二.Lead in:
T: What’s wrong with Gogo? Ss: He has a fever and a headache./He has a bad cold. T: So is Gogo healthy or unhealthy? (Teach the words: healthy/unhealthy) Ss: Gogo is unhealthy. T: Why? (通过果果生病的情境,引入healthy和unhealthy的主题。)
三、Why is Gogo unhealthy? If he wants to be healthy, What should he do? 1.
The first reason: Gogo doesn’t eat enough vegetables. He doesn’t drink enough water. That’s not enough.(Teach the phrase: not enough) If he wants to be healthy, he should eat enough healthy food.(Teach the word: enough) We should eat enough healthy food.
We can also eat more. We can eat plenty of healthy food.(Teach the phrase: plenty of) 2.
The second reason: Gogo eats too much junk food. Do you know junk food?(Teach the phrase: junk food)
Do you know too much?(Teach the phrase:too much)
If he wants to be healthy, he should not eat too much junk food. He can only less.
Look at the picture and know the two kinds of food: healthy/green food, junk food There are many kinds of junk food. For example: chocolate is a kind of junk food.(Teach the word: chocolate) And candy is a kind of junk food.(Teach the word: candy) T lets Ss tell some other junk food: ice cream, cola, chips, hamburger…
Moral education: Don’t eat too much junk food. That’s bad for you. 3.
The third reason: Gogo gets less exercise.
If he wants to be healthy, he should get plenty of exercise.(Teach the phrase: get plenty of exercise) (讲解果果生病的原因以及需要注意的问题,引出单词教学。)

Play a game: Who is faster? (通过多媒体课件单词快速闪过,复习单词。)

Learn Target. 1.
Watch and listen 2.
Learn target in detail, pay attention to the word: else 4.

Group work: Role-play (通过听录音、跟录音读、表演课文等形式,学习Target.)

What else is good/bad for me?
(对课文内容的拓展和补充。)
七.
Expand 1. Who are they? They are Peppa Pig and her brother George. Are they healthy, or unhealthy, let’s have a look. 2.
Is Peppa Pig healthy? Why?
Is George healthy? Why? 3.
Group work: Give George some advice.
Discuss in group and the group leader writes down the answer.
Ask some group to show their opinion. (通过制作微课,巧妙设计小猪佩奇和乔治的人物特点,给学生拓展教学内容。)
