2019.6 一．教材分析

该教材为上海牛津版高一下学期教材，笔者选取了unit3作为教学内容。本单元主题为植物（plants），与学生日常生活息息相关，且语用范围较广；其次，本单元的课文以说明文为主，阅读难度不会过高，且实用性强；阅读文章篇幅适中，单词难度中等，涉及较多植物名称，略有难度。

二．学情分析

授课对象为我校高一普通班学生。该班学生英语水平中等，大部分基础较为扎实，阅读能力有待提高；该班学生整体氛围较为活跃，但是由于是理科班，对英语学习兴趣不够高。

三．教材处理

本节课是第三单元的入门内容，即warming-up和reading文章的学习，目的是增加学生对植物这一话题的了解，以及对这一话题相关词汇和生活常识的认识，因此先通过生活中学校里的植物进行引入，激发阅读兴趣，再开展阅读活动。本节课采用Jigsaw Reading（拼图阅读）的阅读活动，旨在培养和增强学生的自主阅读和合作阅读能力，同时增加阅读课的趣味性，通过信息交流，让学生在读中学、聊中学。之后通过老师的帮助进行信息整合和总结说明文的阅读技巧，再进行拓展阅读，扩大阅读面和知识面。最后引导学生们回归学校生活，利用课上所学为学校建设出谋划策，彰显主人翁精神。

四．教学目标

1. 主题目标：对“植物”这一主题有所了解，并增强阅读能力。

2. 语篇目标：

加深了解说明文体裁的阅读技巧，通过阅读活动对语篇有更

进一步的认识。

3. 语言技能目标：对说明文的阅读技能掌握得更加熟练。

学习策略目标：培养学生任务型学习和合作学习策略。

5. 语言知识目标：

对本课的相关话题词汇初步了解并尝试运用。

6. 文化意识目标：通过“植物”单元的学习，让学生学会观察生活，用发现美的眼睛看待生活，同时增强对周围环境和学校的热爱。

【Warming-up】

Show some pictures of the plants in our school to the students. Ask them: Can you recognize the plants in our campus? [设计意图]: 从身边的植物引入，和学生生活更有相关性，引起学生的兴趣。

【Pre-reading】

(1) Match the names and photos of these plants in Asia. (rice

Ask the students the functions of them. [设计意图]: 由生活中较为常见且学生比较熟悉的植物引入，回顾他们的名字和对生活的影响及作用。从lotus引出其与water lily的相同和不同之处，从而为文章阅读做好铺垫和引入。

Skimming : Skim the article and answer the questions. (1)What is the intention of this article? (2)How many kinds of plants are introduced in it? What are they?

[设计意图]: 通过略读，全班同学可以掌握文章大概脉络和文意。有利于下面阅读活动的开展。

Jigsaw reading (1) Step 1: Finish the chart in Step 1 after reading your part and discussing with the other

students who get the same letter as you. (2) Ste -2: Finish the chart in Step 2 after exchanging information with the original group. (3) Step 3: Check the chart with the whole class to get the overall information (学案另附) [设计意图]: 拼图阅读，即教师在课前设计好四种不同学案（ABCD四种），分发给学生们，四人一小组，同组的四个人分别拿到ABCD各不相同的学案及任务。第一环节学生们起身和拿到同样标号的学案的同学讨论后，第二环节回到原来小组中进行交流，从而完成拼图阅读任务。通过活动，学生增强了合作学习和获取信息的能力，体会到合作的力量，提高阅读兴趣。

[设计意图]: 总结说明文的阅读技巧。通过阅读另一篇体裁一致的篇幅较短的文章，进行阅读技巧的再运用，从而巩固对阅读技巧的掌握。

Discussion:

There are some plants and flowers in our school. However, as the “Civilized Campus”(文明校园), it is not enough. Suppose that our school wants to have more plants, what kind of plants you advice our school to plant? Choose one from the plants we learn today and tell the reasons. [设计意图]: 将课文所学话题与实际生活相结合，引导学生活学活用，同时巩固所学内容和话题。

【Assignment】

Write down the plant you want to choose to plant in our campus and illustrate the reasons. Then polish your article and make it to a suggestion letter (建议信). 七．板书设计
