Unit 4 When is Easter? B Let’s learn (PEP 五下) Basis of Teaching objectives:

依据新课标,要求小学五年级学生能借助图片、图像、手势听懂简单的话语或录音材料;能听懂课堂活动中简单的提问;能听懂常用指令和要求并做出适当的反应;能在口头表达中做到发音清楚、语调基本达意;能就所熟悉的个人情况进行简短对话;能按要求用简单的英语做游戏,能体会到英语学习的乐趣;在学习中集中注意力;敢于开口,表达中不怕出错误;积极参与各种课堂学习活动,积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。

Teaching analyses:

本单元学习的主题是中西方节日及个人的生日。本单元B部分学习主题是个人的生日。本节课是B部分第二节课,整个单元中的第五课时,包括Let's learn, Look and write两个内容。Let's learn部分主要学习October 12th,April 20th,November 30th, February 23rd,August 21st。要求学生通过听、说Robin和Yifan 对话When is Grandpa’s birthday? It is on October 12th.感知核心句型的语义及语用情景。Look and write活动部分,是要求教师创设情境,请学生根据核心句型进行对话创编。

Analyses of the students:

学生已有近三年的英语学习经验,大多数学生学习兴趣高,具备一定的学习方法,学习习惯较好。对于本课学习,学生所处的学习认知优势是在A部分已经学过一些重要节日的表达了,并能表述

自己的节日喜好,这激活了学生已有的相关知识与生活经历,为本节课讨论生日话题奠定了基础。

Teaching methods:

针对以上情况,我对课堂活动进行多样化设计,让他们充分发挥自身潜能。优化利用课堂时间,给予学生充分的时间与空间,教给学生学习的方法,教学生独立、合作、创造性地解决问题,在观察、归纳、总结中掌握难点。鼓励学生与同学尝试用英语进行交流。

1.能够听、说、读、写单词:twelfth, twenties, twenty-first, twenty-third, thirties.

2.能够在图片和老师的帮助下理解对话,能在情境中恰当运用核心句型--When is your/…’s birthday?-- It’s on… .就生日日期展开对话。

3.能够在情境境中运用句型What will you do for your …? I will …for … .表达自己能为家人或朋友做些什么。进而感受亲情,增强爱家人的情感。

4.学习、归纳、总结基数词变序数词的变化规则。

Step 1 Warm up

1.Greetings.

2.Free talk. What day is it today? Which month is it? What is the date today? Today is a special day for Yi fan’s family. Because there is a birthday party at his home.

3.Lead out the guests: The first friend is Sarah. We can also say “Sarah is the first friend.”

4.Review: A sharp eyes game.

Step 2 Presentation

1.Set the candle to learn ‘twelfth”

1)The first candle “A”… The twelfth candle “A”. Then listen and say.

3)Have students to read and try to remember the chant.

4)Share the cake to match the ordinal numbers with the correct numbers.

will you write? 学生:Thank you! I love you, dad.在这一语境中孩子们的用英语思维的能力得到很好地培养,同时家人之间相爱的情感得以升华。
