牛津英语4A Module 4 Unit 2的主题是At Century Park。基于小学英语中高年级课程标准的要求，本课教学的主要目的是让学生通过阅读、问答、情景问答等形式习得单词plant house, aviary, pond, fountain，并且能用所学知识描述某一个自己最喜欢的一个地方。同时，在教学过程中指导学生有目的地听和读，学会抓住关键信息并用自己的语言进行输出。在本课的教学设计中我尝试着挖掘教材资源，根据教学目标及学生的实际学情，对教材内容在重组、拓展的基础上进行了语段、语篇的文本再构设计，以实现相应的教学目标。

语段1： plant house There is a plant house in Century Park. It’s near the gate. It’s big and beautiful. There are many small trees and flowers in it. Some flowers are red, some are yellow… Oh, there are so many colours. Miss Fang and her students can smell the flowers. They can watch the flowers, and they can take photos with them. 由听力的方式入手，学生在训练听的能力的同时，对植物园有了一个大致的了解。然后用回答问题和阅读（加粗斜体部分）短文的方式，帮助学生对本节课的基本语段有所了解。

语段2： aviary Next to the plant house, there are some aviaries. They are big. They are homes for birds. Miss Fang and her students can hear the birds singing on the branches. They can see the birds flying in the aviaries. They are happy in it. 听老师对鸟舍的介绍后，使学生对鸟舍这个单词从整体性上有所感知。然后让学生分角色说说aviary，调动起学生的学习主动性。

语段3：pond There are many animals in the pond. It is smaller than the ________. The pond is home for _______. It is pretty. You can _________. _______ are our friends. 在之前两个环节的基础上，这次放手让学生通过讨论的方式，根据图片谈谈自己认识中的池塘，渗透足够多的有关于池塘的信息，为接下去的输出做好准备。

最后是输出阶段，学生运用这节课新授的单词句子与朋友互相交流，互相学习，体会学习语言的乐趣。
