Unit 5 Helping our patents 沛县张庄镇中心小学 张坤 221638 教材简解：

本课语言材料是以Mike为视角的一家人周六一天的生活场景，由上午和下午两个场景组成，主要内容是家务劳动。内容看似平淡无奇，但是它传递了一个信息，即在家庭生活中，每个人都有义务承担一些力所能及的家务劳动。

对于学生而言，新的语言点和能力提升点可以分为两个主要板块，第一板块是掌握有关家务劳动的词汇，通过具体情境中的师生互动，学生初步感现在进行时:xx am/is/are+动词ing及特殊疑问形式：What are you/they doing? What is he /she doing ?，在此基础上，指导学生掌握自主学习的策略，创设贴近学生的生活场景进行交流，灵活运用。第二板块是通过迈克一家人的生活互助精神引导学生关心帮助自己的父母，体谅父母及承担家务，多做一些力所能及的家务劳动。做一个乐于助人和懂得感恩的人。

目标预设：

知识目标：

1. 能听懂、会读、会说单词：

clean the car/table, cook breakfast/dinner, sweep the floor, busy, wash the dishes. 2. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语：What are you/they doing? What is he/she doing? 及回答。

能力目标：

1. 能正确理解并朗读课文。

2. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和句型询问别人正在做什么。

3. 培养学生的自学能力，掌握阅读技巧。

情感目标：

教学过程中，引导学生关心帮助自己的父母，多做一些力所能及的家务劳动。鼓励他们在家帮助父母，体谅父母及承担家务，做一个乐于助人和懂得感恩的人。

教学重、难点：

1. sweep the floor, wash the dishes等有关家务劳动的词汇及读音。

2. 利用现在进行时态的句型开展交流活动。

3.现在进行时态特殊疑问句What are you/they doing? What is he/she doing? 及肯定句用法。

设计理念：

Story time是整个单元的核心部分。根据《英语课程标准》要求，通过创设情境，调动学生学习的积极性，鼓励学生积极体验、实践和合作，使学生自信自然地融入到英语学习中。精心设计教学环节，设计不同难度的活动，让课堂“活”

起来，学生“动”起来。重视学法指导，发展学生的自学能力，培养学生的合作意识，使不同层次的学生都能得到提高。

设计思路：

根据小学英语教学目标的要求和学生的实际情况，我做了以下设计：一、通过Magic eyes游戏营造欢快的氛围，通过问答：Do you like sweeping the floor? Does he like sweeping the floor? 等巩固上节课关于家务的短语并引出正在进行时He is sweeping the floor等，由学生自己观察和思考，发现并总结规律，培养学生自主性学习的能力。构建思维导图，由课题发散出特殊疑问词Who、

Why、What等让学生根据课题组织发问，引入正文。二、充分利用教学资源，优化教学效果，提高学生的综合语言运用能力。三、采用任务型教学途径，通过小组合作等多样化的操练形式和游戏活动给学生提供更多的语言运用机会，进一步掌握目标词汇和新句型。

教学过程：

Step1 Learning by themselves（自主学习新知）

1. Warming up a. Greetings. b. Play a game:Magic eyes (PPT呈现生生活中帮助父母分担家务的图片) 2. Free talk. 呈现课题，结合思维导图（mind map）发散出Who 、Why、What三个特殊疑问词分支，小组讨论可以提出怎样的问题。

T: Can you ask some questions about today’s topic with the special question word“Who”? Discuss in groups. (让生小组讨论用特殊疑问词who提问有关helping our parents的问题) Ss: Who helps his parents? Who are helping their parents... T: Organize Ss to find the answer. I have a question for you: Who are our parents?（组织学生整理问题及答案，呈现我的问题引导学生讨论作答）

Ss: They’re our father and mother.

T: Deal with “Why、What”like this. （用同样的方法处理why、what相关问答）

【设计意图】

1.Magic eyes环节既能活跃气氛又能巩固有关家务的词汇，插入ask and answer及复习I like V-ing又为正在进行时铺垫。2. 恰当运用思维导图帮助学生整体理解文章，来提高阅读教学有效性。学生根据中心主题和主干提出问题，eg：Why should they help their parents?等，师可以在多媒体课件或板书中利用思维导图呈现关键词，帮助学生在小组内进行分享和交流梳理知识点加深理解。 Step2. 【设计意图】通过First，Next,Then,Finally四步呈现要求，让生巩固写作步骤，然后让其带着目的性先独立思考完成，再小组讨论尝试消灭困难，最后，师生全班校正。

Step3. Activities

Task 1. Look and say T：Just now, I introduced a new friend (正在进行时)for you.Have you known her? Let’s try! （PPT呈现图片，引导学生运用现在进行时描述，发现并总结V-ing用法）

Task2 . Look and write T：Look! What are the children doing ? Discuss in groups and write down the answers. Ss: Work in groups and practice the use of V-ing Task3 .Let’s chant Doing, doing, what’s he doing? Making, making, he’s making the bed.

Doing, doing, what’s she doing? Sweeping, sweeping , she’s sweeping the floor.

Doing,doing, what are you doing? Reading,reading,we are reading. （PPT呈现生生活照，师生一边齐读chant一边做动作）

Task4. watch and write 观看龟兔赛跑视频：The hare and the tortoise，完成对话。

T： I have prepared an interesting story for you. Almost of you heard it when you were very young. What’s is it ? Can you guess? Ss: 学生非常感兴趣，积极猜想... T：Present the picture about the story. Yes! It’s The hare and the tortoise. （师生观看视频，补全对话，练习正在进行时。）

【设计意图】通过设置不同的任务，激发他们自主探究和自我挑战的兴趣，同时又能检测学生对现在进行时及问答的掌握情况。另外，观看大家耳熟能详的动画“龟兔赛跑”，快乐观看的同时再次巩固句型。

Step4. Summary 师生交流，回顾本课要点：a.家务词汇:.... b.现在进行时态特殊疑问句What is / are xx doing? 及肯定句用法

Step5.Emotional education 1.PPT呈现一些孩子帮助父母做家务反而讨价还价的图片让学生思考讨论： Are they right ? Can we learn from(向...学习) them? 教师顺势发问：T :What should we do ? S1: We should sweep the floor .

S2: We should wash clothes ... ...(师生讨论回答)

2.PPT呈现从小到大父母无私为孩子付出的一些图片，让生感知：

Respect our patents.(孝敬父母) Learn to be thankful.（学会感恩）

【设计意图】 1.通过对比孩子们做家务跟父母讨价还价和父母无私为孩子付出的图片，引导学生关心帮助自己的父母，结合Are they right ? Can we learn from(向...学习) them? 两个问题让生辨析自己的行为的不合理，学会体谅父母、孝敬父母及承担家务，多做一些力所能及的家务劳动，学会感恩。

2.通过What should we do ? 让学生再次复习有关家务的词汇同时检测孩子掌握情况。

Step6.Homework

1. Listen to the tape and read after it . (听磁带，跟读) 2. Do the exercises on the exercise book. （做练习册上的第一课时练习题）

3. Help your parents do housework when you are free. (有空的时候多帮助父母做做家务)
