‘How’s the weather today?’教学设计

莉（一) 教学内容

本课出自重大出版社小学英语（三年级起点）四年级下册第六单元。本模块将围绕天气“Weather”为主题，展开系列教学活动，首先让学生学会用英语表达一些基本天气的单词与对话“-How’s the weather today? -It’s…”，然后通过创设天气情境，在情境中熟练地运用“-We can go running/....”来表达在这种天气下我们能够开展什么活动。同时通过这一课的学习，激发孩子们对天气变化的好奇之心,对好天气和坏天气形成的环保意识关注，培养他们从小爱护环境，保护环境的良好习惯。

（二）教学目标

a. Through experiencing, participate in, practice steps on the activity, encourage the students to have good cooperation with each other and learn from each other. 通过交流与合作，培养学生的互助精神与合作学习能力。

c. Through the changes of the weather, encourage the students to protect our environment. 通过对天气变化的认知，培养学生环境保护的意识。

通过本课教学，使学生能运用How’s the weather today？

询问今天的天气，并能用“It’s…”回答别人的提问。

在创设的天气情境中，运用We can go running/go walking/listen to English/do homework/play basketball/play football/进行准确回答。

（四）教学策略与教学方法

以活动教学为主，培养学生独立自学与小组合作互学。采用了直观教学法、全身反应法、情景教学法等。教学设计遵循学生的认知特点及规律，以活动教学为主线，动静结合，听说领先。遵循外语教学的层次性原则：理解层次、操练巩固层次和交际层次。在课堂教学中合理优化配置各个层次，以及教师与学生角色的必要变更，充分发挥学生的主体地位。为学生创设生动有趣的语言学习情景，在尊重学生个性发展，面向全体学生全面发展的基础上，唤醒学生的主体意识，从而调动学生展学的积极性。侧重运用情景交际和小组讨论法，使整个教学从知识的内化到外显呈现出一种动态、和谐的发展过程。运用电脑多媒体辅助教学，以活化交际情景，多感官刺激学生，充分开发和调动学生的多种智力潜能参与学习活动，从而达到学习新知、培养技能、和谐个性、启迪智慧的教育目标。

(五)教学过程设计

A、Warming up. (热身) a. Greetings b. Review some old phrases.

Read and do the actions. (go running/go walking/listen to English/do homework/play basketball/play football/) （CAI: Show some pictures of old phrases.）

B．Presentation and Practice( 新知呈现与操练) a. Lead-in.（导入）

T: Look at the pictures, what can you do? For example, I can go running.

S1: I can play basketball. S2: I can play football.

T：Ok! Today, there is another boy can play football, too. Let’s see, what will happen? （CAI: Show a picture of Xiao Ming who is playing football. ）

T: This is a boy named Xiao Ming.

He likes playing football. But today, he meets a trouble. （CAI: Then comes a wind. Later, it rains.）

T：Oh, it rains.

Now can he play football? Ss: No, he can’t.

T: So you see, the weather is important to our life! 天气对我们的生活很重要。

Yes or no? Ss: Yes! T: Today we’ll learn “weather”

Ss: Weather! (揭示主题，Study the new word “weather”) b. New words. (新授单词) 1. Self-study(通过观看天气录像，自学感知今天要学到的天气以及对应的单词) (1) T: Before our learning. We’ll do a self-study first. Please take out the paper and a pen. You should finish the exercise1 by seeing a piece of movie. (CAI: Show a movie about so many kinds of weathers.) (2) T：Let’s check the answers. (CAI: Match the weather words with its pictures.) 2、Words Teaching

(CAI: PPT shows weathers from “sunny” to “rainy”.) (1) 机械操练：

教师手持卡片，逐一教学单词。采用TPR全身反应教学法、声音高低变化等形式，由面到点的进行全班、小组、个别的操练。

(2) 实景感知：

教师通过喷水雾、电风扇、喷雪花形象直观的创设了rainy, windy, snowy三种天气现象，让学生通过看、摸、感觉来感知这三种天气。

(3) 游戏教学：

c. New sentences (新授句型) （1）新句呈现

（CAI: 呈现新对话“-How’s the weather today ？–It’s... ”）

（2）问句的机械操练

将长句“How’s the weather today?”拆分三句进行机械操练，采取大小声变化，（由面到点练习）。

（3）小组合作问答替换练习

全班用新学天气问句“How’s the weather today?”进行提问，小组依顺序依次根据出示的天气场景用“It’s…”来回答。

C. Practice of expanding (语言拓展训练) a、Talk about the pictures (1) 导入：T: Look at the beautiful picture. How’s the weather today?

S: It’s sunny.

T: In the sunny day, what can you do? (CAI: 阳光明媚的天气背景图) -How’s the weather today ？–It’s...

–We can…

(2) Make dialogues with different weathers. （CAI: 出示不同天气的语境图，学生自主造句）

b、Make a dialogue with a paper. (1)（

CAI: 出示每组的大展板，讲解需要自己填写与补充的对话内容）

T: Now, take out your big paper, and make your own dialogue with your partners. Ss: Yes! (2) 上台呈现自己组所选的问答句式，小组四人合作造句。

c、Create the dialogue and show

(1) 分小组自主创编对话。

(2) 结合自己的道具，分小组上台表演。

(3) 给与评价。

D. Summarize (本课的情感目标) (CAI: Show some pictures of bad weathers and poor people!) T: We should protect our environment，because we have only one earth. (倡议保护我们的地球环境，避免恶劣天气出现！) E. Homework and ending. 1. Copy the new words in your exercise books. 2. Practice the dialogues with your partners.
