Unit 6 How’s The Weather Today?
Lesson 1
教学目标:
1. 学生能听懂、会说snowy, windy, sunny, cloudy, rainy等描述天气的词汇。
2. 学生能够通过学习掌握How’s the weather today? It’s---句型,并能熟练应用此句型进行语言交流。
教学重点:
1. 学生能够听懂、会说描述天气的词汇snowy, windy, sunny, cloudy, rainy。
2. 学生能够熟练的运用How’s the weather today? It’s---这一句型描述不同的天气状况。
教学难点:学生能够掌握并综合运用本课的教学内容。
教学准备:
PPT课件、单词卡片,How’s the weather歌曲、天气预报音乐、自制天气转盘。
教学过程:
Step 1: Warm-up
1. Greet the class.
2. Enjoy a melody:
--Have you heard this before?
--Yes. It’s the weather report. If you want to go travelling, it’s very important to know the weather of that place.
Step 2: Presentation
Let’s start our class. Today, we’ll learn Unit 6——How’s the weather today?
1. weather
Last year, we’ve learned these two words. (PPT shows mother and father -→ther-→weather) Teach the word “weather”, then teach the title.
2. sunny
Let’s take a trip. PPT shows a picture.
---Can you guess? Where is it?
---It’s Sanya in Hainan. Can you guess how’s the weather?
---Sunny. It’s sunny.
(1)Teach the word “sunny” , using rising tone and falling tone.
(2)Let’s play a game: little-train
Rules: each group pass the word one by one like “Z”. If the last one finish, raise your hand as soon as possible. We’ll find out the winner.
---How’s the weather in Hainan?
---It’s sunny.
3.rainy
Let’s go to another place. Who can tell me where is it?
---It’s Huangguoshu waterfalls in Guizhou. Can you guess the weather?
---Yes, rainy. It’s rainy.
Teach the word “rainy” by high voice and low voice.
---How’s the weather in Guizhou?
---I t’s rainy.
4.cloudy
I’ll take you to a beautiful place---Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan.
Teach “cloudy” by catching the word.
---How’s the weather in Sichuan?
---It’s cloudy.
5.windy
Show the PPT: Great Wall in Beijing.
Teach “cloudy” ->It’s cloudy.
---How’s the weather in Beijing?
---It’s windy.
6.snowy
---Where are we?
---Yes. It’s Harbin. It’s very cold(Do the action). How’s the weather?
Teach “snowy”->It’s snowy.
Step 3: Consolidation
(1)Just now, we learned the words about weather. Now, let’s study how to ask?
---How’s the weather today?
---It’
(2)Lucky wheel:
I spin the wheel and ask by using this sentence. The students answer. Then ask a volunteer to spin the wheel.
(3)Sing a song: How’s the weather?
Watch a video. Everybody, stand up. Don’t be shame. Just move it up. Let’s sing and dance. Step 4: Homework
Today’s homework: practice the dialogue with your partner.
