一、整体设计思路、指导依据说明

本节课是对话型教学。以贴近学生生活实际的“生日派对”为主情景展开教学。新课程要求学生能在图片和动作的帮助下说出单词、听懂对话;能做简单的角色表演;能说出简单的英语歌谣并在学习中乐于模仿,敢于表达,对英语具有一定的感知能力。

二、教学背景

教学内容

本课时为重大版四年级英语下册Unit3 There Is a Cake on the Table.

以生日派对为教学话题展开,很好的贴近了学生的生活,从而也能更好的激发学生的学习兴趣。教学目标是学生能够听懂、会读、会说本节课的必要掌握单词,如party, candy,candle,present,table ;学生能够在真实的情境中熟练运用核心句型

学生情况分析:

本课的教学对象是四年级的学生,四年级的学生对英语有比较浓的学习兴趣;且具有一定的英语基础,能够听懂基本的英语课堂指令,并用英语进行简单的日常交流,如问好。就本课而言,学生已经学习过了句型Where is the...? Can you see ...?及介词的英文表达

,如:on /in the desk, under/near the chair. 以上学过的词汇和句型都对本节课有很大的帮助。

Step 1: Warm up/lead-in a.Greetings & Free talk (Play the birthday song) b. Introduce the background that “Today is Peggy’s birthday, let’s go to her party.”(Teach party ) 设计意图:引入情景,人际互动。以我们的新朋友为主线,创设情景,激发学生的兴趣,为整堂课的情景创设做好铺垫。活跃课堂气氛。

Step 2: Presentation (Let’s go to the party.)

T:Wow, so many things at the party. What can you see? (teach)

T: Can you see a book? Ss: Yes, I can. T: So, you can say : There is ... (teach) 设计意图:创设情景,帮助学生理解

What can you see? There is.... T: There is a special one on the chair.(teach present) (Suddenly, the light has broken. And the present has gone. Let’s find out it together.)

设计意图:创设情景(突然停电,礼物不见了)。提出任务,请同学们以闯关的形式帮忙把礼物找出来,激发学生的兴趣,并为后面的学习做好铺垫。

a. ( Show the picture of candy ) T: What can you see ? Ss: There is a candy.(teach with a chant) T:Then, where is the candy. ... Ss: There is a candle on the cake.(teacher with a chant) T: Today, Peggy is 3 years. (Put two more candles on the cake) So there are three candles... 设计意图:在闯关的过程中,学生不断遇到新的单词,在此过程中在游戏和chant的帮助下掌握单词candy, on the table, candle;理解并初步运用句型

Practice T:Do you want to have cakes? But we have to light candles first. 设计意图:创设情景,学生要点蜡烛的,就需要先完成两个任务,为后面的练习做铺垫。

a.Help Peggy to count and tidy.

( Game: Bomb ) 设计意图:检测学生对单词的掌握情况,为后面的练习做准备。

b.Chant with Peggy 设计意图:进一步巩固学生对本节课的重点句子What can you see? There is... 和单词的操练。也为后面的展示活动进一步做好语言铺垫。同时,以唱歌的形式进行操练也增强了趣味性。

c. Group work (To introduce their “present”) 设计意图:创设情景,让学生用本课所学句型,回归生活,对教室的场景、物品进行描述。把本节课所学的句型加以应用。

Step 5 Homework 1. Sing the song to your parents.

设计意图:对所学知识的进一步巩固练习。针对三年级学生的特点,唱歌形式的作业更能增强趣味性。

七、教学评价

1. 评价内容:

全班分为六个小组,每组在课前会获得一个信封。表现好小组可从信封里拿出一张图片,最后哪一组最先把信封里的拼图拼完整就可得到奖励。同时,此项内容还会应用到最后的小组展示活动,让学生运用本课知识,回归生活。
