Introduce friends and let other students guess who he/she is. 2.Quick response

Read the phrases quickly and correctly.

3.Look and find

Look at the picture carefully and find out who they are and where they are. Step 2 While-story 1.

Listen and match

(1) Listen to page 48 and match what they are doing in the morning.

(2) Check the answer a. What is Mike’s father doing? He’s cleaning the car. Read after the teacher.

b. What is Mike’s mother doing? She is cooking breakfast.

c. Let the students ask and answer: What is Mike doing? He is helping his father. He is cleaning the car. What are they doing? They are cleaning the car.

d. What is Helen doing? She is sweeping the floor. Say the whole sentence: Helen is sweeping the floor. e. Tim and Ben. What is Tim/Ben doing? Tim/Ben is sleeping. 2. Ask and answer

Use the pictures and the sentence structures to ask and answer with partners.

(1) Read page 49 in silence and underline the sentences what they are doing in the afternoon.
