Unit 7 At weekends 一、教学目标：

1.能听懂、会读、会说单词、词组at weekends/chat on the Internet/go to the

cinema/fly a kite/have a picnic 2.能听懂并且理解adverbs of frequency（always/usually/often/sometimes）间差异。

3. 能听懂、会读、会说句型：What do you do at weekends? I always/usually/often/sometimes…at

weekends.

4. 能正确的理解并朗读课文，在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

二、教学难重点：

1.能理解和正确朗读课文，达到语音语调正确并在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述

课文内容。

2.能听懂并且理解adverbs of frequency（always/usually/often/sometimes）间差异。

3.能听懂、会说、会读、会运用句型What do you do at weekends?

I always/usually/often/sometimes…at weekends.

三、教学过程：

Step 1: Warming up. 1. Greeting. T: Class begins.

S: Stand up. T: Good morning, class.

S: Good morning, Miss Ding. T: Nice to see you.

Teach ‘at weekends’. T: Boys and girls, what day is it today?

S: It’s Wednesday. T: What day is this day?

S: It’s Saturday. T: How about this day?

S: It’s Sunday. T: All these days are Saturdays and Sundays. Do you know what are Saturdays and Sundays

S: Weekends.

T: Good. Weekends. We say at weekends. 在周末。

Free talk

(1) Pictures T: Let’s enjoy some pictures and tell me ‘What do they do at the weekends?’

S: They swim and play table tennis at weekends.

S: They read books and play football at weekends . S: They play the piano and dance at weekends. S: They have picnics at weekends. (2) New phrase time words. T: Do you want to know about my weekends. Look at some pictures and guess. S: You play with your dog at weekends S: Yeah, I play with my dog at weekends because I love my dog very much.

T: It doesn’t matter. I will tell you. They are my parents and I visit them at weekends.

Read after me ‘visit my parents’. T: Where is it?

S: It’s a cinema.

T: What do I do at weekends? S: You go to the cinema.

T: But do you know how often?

I always play with my dog at weekends.(five stars)

I usually visit my parents at weekends.(four stars) I often go to the cinema at weekends.(three stars)

I sometimes chat on the Internet at weekends.(two stars) Pay attention to these words ‘always, usually, often, sometimes表示动作发生的频繁程度，

从always到sometimes发生的频率由多到少。

should usually do some housework. We should usually talk about our school life with our grandparents. We shouldn’t always play computer games. We shouldn’t always play with mobile phones. We shouldn’t always watch TV. Step 4: Homework. 1. At last, today’s homework: (1) Read the dialogue after the tape and try to retell.
