Unit 2 Welcome to Our Farm

第一课时教学设计

1、教学目标

1)知识与能力目标

A. 掌握并熟练运用词汇:farm, cow, horse, pig,sheep. B. 掌握并熟练运用核心句型: Do you have rabbits ?及其肯定和否定回答: Yes, we do./ No, we don’t. C. 培养学生简单的英语口语交际能力,听懂课堂用语和根据相关指令做出相应动作。

2)过程与方法目标

通过师生对话、回答问题、玩游戏、唱歌、表演故事等活动,使学生掌握并熟练运用新词汇和核心句型,激发学生的学习兴趣。

3)情感、态度、价值观

引导学生形成热爱生活、热爱动物的人生观和价值观,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

2、学生和内容分析

本节课的主要学习任务是farm, cow, horse, pig, sheep五个生词,以及掌握其准确读音和灵活运用,通过恰当的课堂教学活动,九、十岁左右的四年级学生能够在40分钟内掌握生词并进行简单的交流。

3、教学重点

1)学习并掌握farm, cow, horse, pig, sheep这五四个词汇的发音及运用。

2)学习并掌握本课的核心句型:Do you have rabbits ?及其肯定和否定回答: Yes, we do./ No, we don’t.并且能在日常情景对话中大胆、灵活的运用核心句型,引导学生进行巩固和拓展训练。

4、教学难点

1)新单词farm, cow, horse, pig, sheep 2)核心句型Do you have rabbits ?及其肯定和否定回答: Yes, we do./ No, we don’t. 5、教学准备

重点词汇单词卡片、音频、PPT、学生小组作业、教学辅助等。

6、教学方法

游戏教学法、情景教学法、TPR教学法等。

7、教学过程

Step 1 Warming-up 1)Greetings:教师用“Good morning, boys and girls! Nice to meet you.How are you?”问候全体学生。

T: Class begins. Stand up, please. Good morning, boys and girls! S: Good morning, Miss Tan! T: Nice to meet you.

S: Nice to meet you,too. T: How are you ? S: Fine. Thank you. And you? T: Very well. Do you want to sing a song?

S: Yes. T: OK. Let’s sing together.(拍手唱歌,E-I-E-I-O.)

Step 2 Lead-in T: Very good. Sit down, please. So, McDonald had a farm. This word“arm”(教师指着手臂arm),教读新单词farm. Who want to try again? (学生评价:Good girl. Super boy.)

T: This is my friend, Donald.(PPT展示Donald“Hello! I’m Donald.”)Donald asks you to his farm. So he says: Welcome to our farm. (引出单元主题并板书)Let’s read the sentence together. 1、2, go... T: Donald asks you to his farm. This is Donald’s farm. What can you see?

S: A tree, a cat, a dog, grass...Now, I want to divide you into 2 groups. Group1, you are tree group, and group 2, you are grass group.(根据McDonald’s farm进行分组)Group1, if you can do a good job you can get more fruit on it. Group2, you can get more flower on it. At last, we will see which group is the winner. Come on! Boys and girls.

Step 3 Presentation 1.利用马的叫声呈现新单词horse。

T: Let’s listen. What’s this?(教师呈现马的叫声)

S: horse.(展示并板书horse卡片教读

[hɔ:rs], 教读复数形式horses。(运用抽卡片的方式教授horse的复数形式)通过游戏方式进行操练:Fingers Read“伸手指读”----老师用手指出示数字,如看

到1则读单词horse 1遍,看到2则读2遍,依此类推。

1)呈现核心句型:

T: I have horses. Do you have horses? (直接呈现图片horses)

S: Yes, we do.(示意学生举起手中的horses单词卡片)

T: Do you have rabbits? (直接呈现图片rabbits)

S: No, we don”t. 2)操练核心句型:

Ask and answer quickly.(快速问答:教师与学生)

T: I have pandas. Do you have pandas? S: No, we don’t.(示意学生举手示意“No”)

T: I have dogs. Do you have dogs? S: Yes, we do.(示意学生举手示意“耶”)

T: I have monkeys. Do you have monkeys? S: No, we don’t.(示意学生举手示意“No”)

T: I have horses. Do you have horses? S: Yes, we do.(示意学生举手示意“耶”)

2. 利用图片直接呈现新单词cow。

T: Let’s go to Donald’s farm. What’s this? (You can use Chinese.)随机抽取学生回答并实行奖励机制。

T: This word“how”,CCC-“KKK”,cow.(展示并板书cow卡片教读

[kaʊ], 教读复数形式cows。(运用圆柱变cow的方式教授cow的复数形式)通过游戏方式进行操练:集体操练(“mou, mou, mou. cow,

cow, cow.”)运用新单词操练核心句型。

3. 变魔术呈现新单词pig。

T: Today Miss Tan will present you a magic. Let’s have a look. What’s this?

S: pig.(展示并板书pig卡片并教读[pig],

强调短音i。教读复数形式pigs。集体操练:TPR教学法操练,教师引导学生做小猪状并读单词pig, pig, pig. 先集体再小组操练。)分小组操练核心句型。

4. 视频呈现新单词sheep。

T: Let’s watch a video.(观看视频)What can you see? S: sheep. T: Great! You got it.(展示并板书sh eep卡片并教读[ʃip],强调sh, ee-i.区分复数形式sheep。通过游戏方式进行操练:Little Teacher“小老师”----自愿担任小老师教读单词sheep。)

在操练单词的基础上,运用“Do you have...?/ Yes, we do./ No, we don’t.”进行Chain Race“接力赛”----小组内用核心句型进行问答接力比赛,用时最短的小组获胜。

Step 3 Practise T: Now, Let’s play games. The first game called “ what’s missing”. You should speak correctly and loudly. Are you ready?

S: Yes. T: Let’s go!

1)What’s missing? “消失的单词”,教师利用PPT快速退现单词,学生读出看到的单词,进行单词快速认读。

2)I can make words. “我会组单词”,教师利用PPT展示打乱顺序的单词,找学生在黑板上用吸铁卡片重组单词。

3)Let’s chant! (twice, 两遍with body language. 运用肢体语言)

Cow, cow, cow. Do you have cows?

Yes, we do. Horse, horse, horse. Do you have horses?

No, we don't. Pig, pig, pig. Do you have pigs?

Yes, we do. Sheep, sheep, sheep. Do you have sheep?

No, we don't. Step 5 Consolidation(Group work小组活动)

1)Group work. 微课展示小组任务,make a video排练一个自己小组的微视频。(教师提供可选用的已学单词:pigs, cats, ducks, dogs, tigers, elephants, cows, sheep, horses, pandas...)

T: Make a video of your own group. You can use what we have learned today. 5 students in a group. Maybe you can do like this. And here are some words you can use. 2)Show time. 邀请学生小组合作表演微视频,根据表演情况进行小组加分奖励。

T:Now, it’s show time. Which group first? 评价性语言:Good performance! Excellent! Wonderful!... Step 6 Assessment T:Let’s see which group is the winner?

XXX group. Big hands. Congratulations!All of you did a very good job. After class,the group leader come to my office and get your presents.

Step 7 Summary 1)T: Boys and girls, let’s see, the dogs, cats, ducks, pigs, sheep, cows, horses, elephants are pretty and lovely. Please love animals! Make friends with them! Be a loving guy!(对学生进行情感、态度、价值观的教育和熏陶。)

2)T:That’s all for today. Class is over. Thank you! Goodbye, boys and girls.
