一、教学内容：人教精通版小学英语六年级上册Lesson 18 二、学情分析：

六年级知识难度开始加大，逐步出现长难词组、句子及语法知识，导致很多学生学习兴趣不是很高，许多学生还是为学习而学习，谈不上兴趣，但六年级学生生活领域和认知领域有了一定提升，所以要改进课堂教学方式，让师生之间的课堂活动形式更加多样化，学生乐于参加到课堂活动中，师生之间更加融洽。鼓励学生在真实语境和完成任务中体验、感悟语言，不断观察、思考和创新，提高学生的思维能力，形成英语语篇能力，发展学生的综合语言运用能力。

三、教学目标：

（一）语言知识目标：

1.90%的学生能够准确认读、辨认单词light含义并能在送礼物真实情境下恰当使用Here is/are… for you.句型。

2.80%以上学生能够通过体验真实的过生日情景，基本准确的听懂、理解、辨认句子How do they celebrate birthday?以及六个过生日步骤的词组。

3.75%以上的学生能够经过chant的学习准确区分oy字母组合的发音。

（二）语言技能目标：

1.85%以上的学生能够在真实生日派对中，用First… and then….正确描述过生日六步骤的先后顺序，并以小短文形式汇报。

2.80%以上学生能够通过类比的方式感知oy发音，并主动拼出单词Troy，Roy。

（三）情感态度目标：

通过举办生日派对，使所有学生能够了解过生日的基本环节和相关文化原由、禁忌，并培养生生之间友谊。

四、教学重点：

1.学生能够正确使用“Here is/are....”句型送给他人礼物。

2.学生能够熟练理解、表达过生日的六个步骤。

五、教学难点：

学生能够用First… and then….正确描述过生日六步骤的先后顺序，并以小短文形式汇报。

六、教学准备：

1.PPT。2.蛋糕、蜡烛、小刀、生日帽、画板2块、不同形状颜色的任务卡片。3.板书磁条。

七、教学过程：

Step 1:Warm-up 1.Review the topic of U3 Questions: What’s the topic of U3/L13/L15/L17?

【设计意图】通过思维导图的方式，既帮助学生回顾此单元以及本单元中前几课的话题，提高学生英语语言表达能力和积极性，同时以旧引新，自然地导入到本课“birthday party”的话题。

2.Assign the tasks Teacher tells the students:“Today we will have a birthday party. Whose birthday party? Today I invite some of his friends to the party and some TV reporters. At the end of the class, you will finish the diary or report.”

【设计意图】以任务型教学方式贯穿整堂课，在课堂伊始，明确本课的最终任务。同时以为班里某位学生开生日派对的方式吸引学生，学生乐于参加到课堂活动

中。

Step 2: Presentation and practice 1.

Ask students “What do we prepare for the party?” and review the procedures of Lisa’s birthday party.

【设计意图】以Lesson 17的内容，帮助学生回顾开生日派对的步骤，为后面的语言知识应用和拓展做铺垫。

Ask students to use the pattern “Here is/are….” to give gifts and work in groups to talk about “What can be a gift for your parents?”

【设计意图】在真实情境中，让学生学以致用，正确使用“Here is/are....”句型送给他人礼物，突破本课的重点内容，同时延伸到让学生思考为父母准备生日礼物，德育渗透。

Group work: finish the first paragraph for the diary/report. 【设计意图】学生分为两部分，小组讨论分别完成“日记”和“报道”的部分内容，促进学生把语言形式与实际意义结合起来，也利于学生间信息差的交流。

Lead students to speak out the phrase “light the candles”. 6.

Read the culture link and answer“Why do we light the candles?”

Ask students to shout out “light, light, light the candles” while other students are lighting the candles. 【设计意图】通过以上活动，学生听懂、会说过生日的一个步骤

“light the candles”，并引导学生思考为什么过生日时要点蜡烛，渗透文化知识。

Ask students to say the phrase “sing the birthday song”. The students sing the birthday song together. 【设计意图】学生在唱生日歌的活动中，体验、理解、会说过生日的第二个步骤“sing the birthday song”。

Group work: finish the second paragraph for the diary/report. 【设计意图】小组活动继续完成语篇的书面表达活动，提高学生语言交际运用能力，培养学生合作意识，突破本课的重难点。

Lead students to say the phrase“make a wish” and judge the sentence “After you make a wish, you can tell your friends or parents your wish.”

【设计意图】学生能够熟练掌握过生日的第三个步骤“make a wish”并引导学生讨论相关的文化禁忌，培养学生语言表达能力以及相关文化知识。

The other students use the pattern “First he/she… and then…” to retell the action. 【设计意图】生日派对中游戏的方式，贴近学生的生活，帮助学生运用送礼物的句型“Here is/are….”解决问题，学生乐于表达交流。同时在真实情境中进行隐性的语音教学，引导学生自主体验、观察、总结oy的发音。以“你做我猜”的游戏方式，培养学生对词组的认读能力，并能使用本课难点句型First… and then….熟练表达过生日步骤，有效突破重难点内容。

Group work: finish the whole diary/report. 2.

Make up the phrase “a piece of cake” as an evaluation. 3.

Make a summary. 【设计意图】给予学生一个框架，让学生补全相关内容，拓展学生思维能力，培养其语篇能力，创造了开放的语言环境。小组共同协商，培养小组合作精神。学生小组为单位，进行评价，将教学内容和评价方式相结合，优化评价方式，注重综合语言运用能力的评价。
