已经学习了表达颜色，本班学生英语学习基础稳固，记忆习惯和能力较好，对英语学科有一定的学习兴趣。学生敢于将所学知识新旧结合，表达自己的观点、进行语言交际。但在表述中语言结构较松散，缺少逻辑性，常存在语法错误。

教学的主要目的是让学生通过词汇教学、问答、情景体验等学习途径认识昆虫的特征、活动地点，并且能用所学知识概括、描述昆虫的特点和喜好。其中，指导学生有拓展性的学习词汇是教学的重点。

1、学生在1BM1U1中学习过bee，butterfly，新授单词以grasshopper, ant为主，并了解他们的单复数形式。及部分形容词如black and red, nice, beautiful等。
