《How's the weather today?》教学设计

1.知识目标：

(1)能听，说，认读及简单运用单词how、weather、sunny、warm、cloudy、windy、cool；能看懂表示天气状况的图标及意义。

(2)能理解句型“How’s the weather today? It’s …，并能在此基础上进行简单交际。

2.能力目标：学生能够进行有关天气话题的交流。

3.情感态度价值观：

培养学生用英语交流的勇气与热情。

【教学过程】

一、Class opening and review 1 Greeting T: Hello，boys and girls. S: Hello ,teacher. T: What day is today?

S: It’s Wednesday. T: How are you today? S: Fine, thank you！And you? T: Very well, thanks！

2 Review 复习上节课的单词 sun cloud wind rain snow 二 Lesson Hook T:Look outside.What is in the sky? S:It’s the sun.

T:When we see a big sun in the sky,how is the weather? 教师用汉语重复上面的问题，引出板书课题：How is the weather today? T：This class we talk about weather. 三 New concepts Part1：

教师出示准备好的绘图

T: Look at the picture. How is the weather today? S：晴朗的. T:The weather is sunny. It’s sunny. Say together!(板书sunny) S:Sunny. 让学生拼读、练习读单词三遍。

T: How is the weather?（出示阴天的图画）

S1:阴天的。

教师板书并教读cloudy，学生拼读三遍。

教师用相同的教法引导学生对比sunny，cloudy的拼写和发音学习windy，rainy，snowy。

Group work Discuss the weather about the pictures in part 1 and read the sentences . 教师在教室内巡视，为各小组提供帮助。

T：Now which group can come forward to do a practice? You can choose one picture that you like and ask: How is the weather today? The others in your group should answer the question using the sentence in part 1.Then take turns to do the practice. 教师鼓励学生积极勇敢到讲台前做这个练习，ask two groups to do the exercise. Part2: How’s the weather today?

Activity T: There are some cards about the week and the months ,choose two cards that what day you like and which month you like ,give the questions: What day is it? How is the weather in …? In pairs do the activity. Ask two volunteers to come in front of the class ,ask and answer .

小组操练句型,奖励星星。

Homework 看天气预报，找一个自己喜欢的城市，问答天气状况。
