ⅢTeaching procedures: Pre-read:Sing a song “When is your birthday?”

While-read: 1. Play the video, have Ss answer:Who’s Zoom’s music teacher? 2. Say: Ms Bird says,”The singing test will be on May 4th.”

Play the video, have Ss answer: Can Zoom sing well? Have Ss read “I can’t sing well.”

3. Play the video, have Ss answer:

Zoom can’t sing well, what does Zip say?

Show the answer: Don’t worry. Practice makes perfect.

4. Play the video, have Ss answer:

At last, can Zoom sing well? Say: Zoom practice more on May 1st,May 2nd, May 3rd,so he can sing well on May 4th.Now,try to say: What does” Practice makes perfect” mean?
