3 教学目标

This is my school. There’s a hall, a gym, a teachers’ office, a library, an art room, and a music room. How many classrooms are there? There are twenty-five classrooms. Of course, Gogo! I have an idea. A teachers’ office ,a classroom, a hall, a library, a music room, an art room, a gym, a playground. Picture Cards , tape, VCR 重点难点

教学准备

第一课时

Vocabulary Put Picture Cards 1-8 on the board. Say each word as you hold up the Picture Cards. T: Read after me. Have Ss listen and repeat the words. T: Listen to the tape and repeat. Point to each subject as you say it. Play the tape and have Ss repeat. T: Is this an art room? (Point to a music room Picture Card.)[Ss: No, it isn’t. It’s a music room.] Model if necessary. Repeat with several Picture Cards. Read the new words together. Target T: What’s in our school? [S1:There’s a ….] T: Is there a library in our school?[S1: Yes, there is.] S1 say and point to the Picture Cards. Do the same for S2 and others if time permits. Have Ss point to the first picture .Model the dialog. Have Ss point to the second picture .Ask two Ss to model the dialog. Play the tape and pause after each sentence, allowing Ss to repeat. Read the dialogs loudly. Chant activities 1.Point to the pictures and say There’s a … with partners. Listen to the tape first. Play the tape and point to each words as it is chanted. Point to the Picture Cards of a library and a teachers’ officer. Chant as a whole group again . 2. Play the tape one and pause every sentence.

Have Ss fill in the blanks in the chant. Prepare enough Picture Cards and hand out for the class. Every student gets one card. Play the tape again and tell Ss when hearing the tape chants the same words with their cards, they should hold up their cards. Summary. Homework.

第二课时

Review the new words. Story Bring some cards, e.g. a basketball for playground, books for library. Write the places of school across the top of the board. T: What do you do in the room? (Write library on the board and show the books prepared.)[Ss: Read books.] Continue with the other realia to introduce art room , music room, playground, Hall, gym, classroom and teachers’ office . T: Point to the library. look at the picture. What’s this? [Ss: It’s a library.]That’s right. It’s a library. What’s in it?[Ss: Books.] Play the tape, pausing after each sentence to have Ss repeat. Read out the dialog, sentence by sentence, and ask for volunteers to repeat the sentences. Read the dialogs together. Practice 1 Have Ss look at the pictures and ask What’s that on the left (right)? T: OK, class. Let’s listen to the tape. Play the tape for A, then pause. T; What’s in the picture? [Ss: A classroom.] While Ss are responding , write a check in the box of the correct picture. T: Write a check in the correct box. Continue with the rest. Practice 2 Getting ready Hold up the of picture to Ss. T: What can you see ? [S1: A gym,…] Have Ss works in pairs . S1asks three questions according to the picture.S2 answers and the switch. T: Now, read the questions. Have Ss read the questions together. Ask individual Ss to answer.

第三课时

Review the Story. Activity Have Ss look at the A-D pictures in the book for five minutes. T: Let’s look at picture A. What’s in the picture?[Ss: There’s a music room, two classrooms ,and a gym.](T Point out if that if one wants to put two classrooms right after There, then should use plural from: There’re two classrooms, a music room and a gym.) Ask a pair of Ss to act the dialog in the book. T: Now, let’s work in pairs .Ask and answer questions in different pictures. Have Ss practice the Q and A. Choose two pairs of Ss to act their dialog without telling which picture they ate talking .Other Ss guess and point out which pictures they are talking about. Sounds and words 1 Write room and moon on the board and underline the spelling –oo. T( Point to –oo) Let’s practice this sound. Look at my mouth and repeat. T: Drag out the sound so Ss hear it clearly. Have Ss look at the pictures on the page. T: Let’s listen to the tape. Play the tape and have Ss point to each word as the tape says it. T: Let’s listen again and this time ,repeat. Have Ss repeat after the tape. After enough practice, point to the pictures randomly and have Ss say the words. 2 Have Ss look at the pictures beside the lyrics. T: What’s this?(Point to the moon)[Ss: It’s a moon.] T: What’s on the moon ?[Ss: There’s a room, a school and noodles.]Let’s listen to the chant. Play the tape once. T: Now, listen and point to the words as they are chanted. Play the tape again and have Ss to point to the moon,room,school,and noodles as they are chanted. T: Let’s chant together. Play the tape and have Ss chant along. Exercise.
