Lesson 29教学设计

一、知识目标:

学习如何用英语说出1~12月,简单谈论相关的活动。

二、教学重点:

November is the eleventh month of the year.

December is the twelfth and last month of the year.

三、课前准备

准备本课的教学光盘、课件、图片。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Revision

1、Let’s chant. (利用28课的chant引领学生进入英语课堂。)

2、Look and say. (复习1——10月中学习的节日。)

3、Let’s sing:Months of the year. (通过歌曲的形式,既复习了1至10月的说法,又引出了11月,还能激发学生们的兴趣,提高注意力。)

Step 2 Presentation

1、学习November,出示图片,教学单词,学生跟读。(在Let’s sing环节中,学生们基本上已经会读November和December了,所以学起来很简单。)

2、学习短语the eleventh month of the year,要求掌握序数词eleventh 和本单元的重点句式:November is the eleventh month of the year. 3、出示图片Thanksgiving Day,学生跟读,并提问:When is Thanksgiving th

Day?出示台历并圈出日期,学习the 4 Thursday of November。

4、学习新词celebrate,引出句子The family is celebrating Thanksgiving.(出示多张图片反复练习They are celebrating…)

5、学习December和December is the twelfth and last month of the year.

6、出示Christmas图片,引出Santa Claus和present两个词,和句子The children have presents from Santa Claus.全班齐唱We wish you a merry Christmas (通过歌曲的形式记住圣诞节的说法,并会说圣诞快乐。)

8、提问:When is Christmas?(掌握圣诞节的时间及朗读方法。)

9、播放录音,让学生模仿跟读,然后齐读。(通过朗读加深印象)

Step 3 Practice

1、两人一组朗读课文。

2补全短文和回答问题。

(先让学生两人一起自由朗读,对所缺单词快速的背诵。然后学生独立完成练习,指名拼读单词,教师板书然后全班看着板书操练本课句子。)

3、Can you talk about this picture?

4、学习一些中国的节日。(通过学习,增强学生的爱国意识。)

Step 4 Homework

1、Read the text.

2、Do your activity books.
