一、教学目标

1、能够听懂、会说新年祝福语及赠送贺卡的功能句：happy new year！和here is a card for you. 2.能够跟随录音大胆模仿说唱有关新年的歌谣。

二、学习者分析

经过一年多的英语学习，学生已经有了一定的英语基础，如：学习了happy，here，you, too等单词的表达。学习本单元的时候，已经将近圣诞节。外国的节日及其相关活动，对于六年级的学生来说是特别具有吸引力的。这些都为本节课的学习做了良好的铺垫。

三、教学重难点分析

学生能够跟随录音大胆模仿说唱有关新年的歌谣。

四、教学过程

Step 1 greeting and revision 1、T :Good afternoon, everyone. S :Good afternoon, Miss Chen. 2、Words revision (课件出示主题图) T：What can you see in the picture？

S: Father Christmas, Christmas tree, card, present.(板书本节课的新单词) Step 2 act and say 1、T: Do you like Father Christmas?

S: Yes. T:Why? S：Because he has presents.(生可以用中文回答) 2、Teacher is going to be father Christmas and give students presents to practice the sentence structure: A：Here’s a present for you. Merry Christmas. B:You too, thank you. (T gives an example) 3、A student is the father Christmas and give other students present and practice the sentence structure. Step 3 look listen and chant 1、T:What can you see in the picture? S : Two boys and two girls. T: Who are they? S : Bill, Bingbing, Lily and joy. T: What are they doing? S : They are having a new year party.(repeat new year) 2、Listen to the tape and repeat. First time, just listen; second time, listen to the tape sentence by sentence, students repeat(师板书) 3、Work in pair Students practice the text. Step 4 Let’s have a party( A game) Students use the cards prepared before class to have a party like the radio.(work in group) Step 5 Summary 1、
