Unit 2 Boys and Girls Lesson 1 1.

Book’s analyze:

Unit 1, children have been learned the family members, and can use the key sentence who’s he and who’s she. They understand what they mean. This unit continue to talk about who’s she and who’s he except their family. 2.

Teaching Aims: Children can read and understand the new words for this unit. Children can read the rhyme of lesson one. Children can use these new words and another sentences which we learned before. 3.

Language input and key points. Words: classmate, friend, man, woman, girl, boy. Sentence: He / She is a ….

A rhyme. 4.

Different points: Children can understand which people is man and woman. And they can identify the different between he and she, and they can use he/she correctly. 5.

Teaching procedure: A: warming-up: let’s chant and sing for unit 1. Review words and

sentences of unit1.

Review the phonics of letters for unit1. B: look and say.

Show the picture of lesson 1, ask a question: what can you see? Who is she? Who is he? C: Rhyme

Listen and answer the questions. And learn the new words.

Read the new words one by one. Play bomb game, which one do you choose? Or what’s missing?

Use the picture cards to check whether children get or not. D: let’s chant and act.

Children can chant with the radio. And follow teacher to do some action. E: Listen and say.

Guess and say.

Teacher can ask students to stand up, and ask others “Is she a girl or boys”.

Teacher show herself friends, family, teachers photos, and introduce to help children to understand.

F: Practice: children share their friends or classmates with us.
