T: Look at the picture, there is a mother and a child ,they are very happy. Can you guess what day is it?

S: It’s Mother’s Day. T: When is Mother’s Day? What do you want to do on Mother’s Day ? S: I want to…

Step 2: listen and answer

T: Mother’s Day is coming, Jack want to do some things for his mother. What does

he want to do? Now let’s watch the cartoon and try to find the answers. S1: Jack want to make a card and say “I love you” to his mother. Learn the words : say, make a card.

T: Joy’s birthday is coming. (2)

T: Jack and Joy are making a phone call. What are they saying? S: What would you like to do?

I would like to say “I love you” to my mother. Practice the dialogues in pairs. Step 3: Listen and read the dialogues (1)
