Teaching Objectives:

At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to

get some factual information about Van Gogh’s personal life and style of painting through listening; 2.

discover and understand Van Gogh’s style of painting against some incidents in his life; 3.

learn to appreciate and introduce Van Gogh’s paintings by using theme-based vocabulary; 4.

develop listening skills of getting a general idea and capturing specific information.

Teaching Procedures: Stages 

Pre-listening 
