一、教材分析

本课教材为人教精通版小学英语六年级上册第四单元January is the first month of the year.中的第24课。本课在学生已学会了一月到四月及其相关知识的基础上，学习五月和六月及其涉及的节日等相关内容。在上一节课，学生已经对五月和六月有所了解，本课更侧重于对单词、句型的进一步学习和灵活运用。本课将采用分组学习的方式，在学习过程中以学生为主体，旨在提高学生的语言的运用能力和组织合作能力。

二、学情分析

本课的教学对象是小学六年级学生，他们经过六年的英语学习，已经具备了一定的听、说、读、写的英语能力，有一定的英语知识储备和语言表达基础，且具备逻辑思维能力。

三、教学目标

1.知识目标：

(1). 要求听、说、读、写词语：

(2). 要求听、说、读、写单词：May, June. (3). 要求听、说、认读的句子是：May is the fifth month of the year. June is the sixth month of the year.并能在情景中进行交流。

(4). 字母组合ai的发音规律。

2.能力目标：

结合照片与图片为学生提供运用语言的机会，强化操练本单元的重点词语和句子。要求学生熟练运用这些语言，提高学生在真实的生活场景中运用英语进行交

际的能力。

3.情感目标：

通过各种活动照片或图片的交流，增强学生的学习兴趣，并增加生活乐趣。

四、教学重难点

1.四会词语和句子：

五、教学过程

Step1 Warming-up 1、Sing a song about the months.

Students sing along to review the months they have learned and prepare what they are going to learn. 设计意图：通过演唱歌曲，让学生在歌曲中复习已学过的月份，同时了解并预习之后将要学习的月份。教师与学生在歌声中放松心情，拉近师生距离，活跃气氛。

2、Review.

Look at the flowers in the pictures. Guess in which month we can see the flower, then review the month. 设计意图：通过猜测四种花盛开的月份，分别复习之前学过的一月到四月的知识点。以猜一猜的形式提高学生的学习兴趣，激发他们的学习积极性。

设计意图：延续之前复习一月到四月的模式继续学习五月和六月，让学生习惯教学模式，有规律性地掌握知识。在学习过程中，强调四会单词、词组和句子的拼写特点和发音规范，做到全员拼读，以学生为主体，兼顾到每个学生。

2、Exercise. Remember the words in the form in two minutes,and guess where are they. 设计意图：运用头脑风暴的方式，让学生在短时间内记住表格内的月份或节日，制造比赛的氛围，以此激发学生的学习兴趣，加强学生对所学知识的记忆。

Step3 Practice 1、Describe and guess. Play this game in groups. One student guess, others describe the months or holidays.

设计意图：游戏分小组进行，组员分别用英语描述图片中出现的月份或节日是什么，组长来猜。通过小组活动的方式，使每一个学生参与其中，都可以对本课和之前的学习内容进行复习，尤其是单词和句型。

2、Let’s be a reporter. Do this activity in groups. One student will be a reporter, and ask others some questions about months and holidays, such as: Which month

do you like best? Which is the first/second/third/fourth/fifth/sixth month of the year? What festival is in January/ February/ March/ April/ May/ June? How do you celebrate it? What can you do in January/ February/ March/ April/ May/ June? 设计意图：分小组进行活动，每个小组一名记者，对小组成员进行采访。首先在小组内采访，然后全班面前展示。小组内进行任务教学，以学生为主体，既有利于学生之间互相学习，巩固所学知识，又能培养学生的组织能力和团队精神。

Step4 Exercise. 1、Let’s do a survey. Ask your classmates and fill in a form. 设计意图：将刚刚小记者活动的提问结果记录在每个小组的调查问卷中，锻炼学生的书面表达能力。

2、Let’s do. Fill in the blanks. 设计意图：首字母填空。复习本课所学单词、句型，并将之与上一课课文相结合，温故知新。

Step5 Chant. Let’s chant. 设计意图：通过学习chant，学生发现并掌握字母组合ai的发音规律。

Step6 Homework. 1、Talk about your favourite month with your friends. 2、Make a newspaper about your favourite festival. 设计意图：通过向他人介绍月份的方式，可以巩固复习课上所学的知识。通过做手抄报的方式，可以了解更多关于月份和节日的知识，拓展知识面。
