May I have some grapes? 读写课教学设计

一、教学内容分析

本节课是小学英语三年级上册Module 4 Fruits的第三课时,是一节读写课。学生们在第一课时学习了水果类单词和元音字母o、辅音字母p、q、r、s、t的发音规律,在第二课时中结合所学单词学习并操练了本课的重点句型“I want …. I like …. May I have …”,本课时在前面课程的基础上加入了一些常见的水果英文名称,通过情境创设和绘本阅读等途径帮助孩子们扩大词汇量、提升语言交际能力。

二、教学对象分析

三年级的学生对于英语学习拥有浓厚的兴趣,喜欢说唱弹跳。本课的内容设计对于学生来说贴近生活而又不失乐趣。经过前面的语音课和听说课的学习,学生们已经打下了良好的词汇基础,为本课时的各项活动积累了素材、夯实了基础。本课时的设计是在巩固课本知识之余拓展学生的语言基本能力。

三、教学目标

(一)语言能力目标

1.知识与技能目标

(1)能听说读mango, strawberry, lemon, date, watermelon, hamimelon, pineapple, kiwi, cherry , peach, salad, bowl等词;

(2)能在所学知识基础上阅读理解绘本故事;

(3)能根据提示复述绘本故事;

(4)能根据所学小组合作写画绘本故事。

2.语用目标

学生能知道更多的水果单词并能将其运用到阅读、写作中。

(二)学习能力目标

学生能在老师的引导下运用所学知识阅读理解绘本故事并能完成相关任务。

(三)思维品质目标

学生能够准确反应如何有礼貌地询要水果等物品。

(四)文化品格目标

培养学生良好的人际交往礼仪,能用文明礼貌的态度询要物品。

四、教学重点与难点

1.名词单复数的表达形式及读音;

2.运用所学撰写绘本故事。

五、教学理念及策略

本节课基于“研学后教”理念,采用小学英语“IIO”课堂教学模式。通过情境创设、绘本、小组展示等多种方式进行听说训练的输入、内化、输出。本课主要采用自主学习及小组合作学习的方式,鼓励学生积极主动参与课堂,使语言交际活动自然生动的贯穿整个课堂。

七、教学过程

Ⅰ.Preparation

1.

I can sing: To sing the song before going into the English class, which can help Ss cheer up quickly. 2.

Free talk: Greetings between the Ss and teacher. To talk something about their favourite fruit or wanted fruit, to see if they can give quick reaction with learned words and drills.

Ⅱ. Input—Internalization 1.

Lead-in. To show some rare seen fruit to see whether do Ss know these fruit. Which aims to make a joke “even the teacher hasn’t seen them before” , but teacher can teach them some common fruit.

Let’s learn the new words. Step 1: Make Ss say what’s the fruit, then read it according to the phonics. Then let Ss count fruit, which aims to make Ss know the difference between single and plural nouns, for example the words’ tails. Step 2: Let Ss say what fruit do they want and guess what fruit do I have. Step 3: Read the new words on paper individually. Step 4: Play a game “What’s missing” to test whether the Ss can read the new fruit.

I can read the picture book.

Step 1: Designed and revised a picture book according to phonics and drills. To ask Ss to read and think “The fruit salad is made of ____, ____, ____, and ____.” For the first reading. Step 2: Let Ss read and think what is the best way to ask for the salad. Step 3: Let Ss read it again and make a competition among groups, which aims to encourage Ss improve pronunciation. Step 4: Let Ss retell the picture story.

Ⅲ.Output 3 I can write:

Step 1: to enjoy the paintings and say what is it, what colour is it? Do you like it? Etc. Step 2: to ask students to write something about the fruit and compose their own picture story We like salad.

Ⅳ.Enlightment and Sum up. 1.Sum-up: What we’ve learned today, let Ss finish the assessment. 2. Homework: To leave some assignments and let Ss know what we’ve learned in this period.
